I bought this to remove puppy accidents and it works like a charm for that. But mine has sprung a slow leak after about 6 months. I empty it but still have to keep it on a waterproof pad in the garage.

I love all of my Bissells, but what a piece of garbage the Little Green Is. It SOAKS surfaces and barely sucks the water back up! Also, this is NOT 9AMPS!!!!! That is a LIE! The only reason they can claim this is because, the heater has 6 amps, and the suction motor has 3 amps. 6+3=9. Why is this misleading? Because the buyer thinks he/she is getting a NINE amp suction motor, but they are really only getting three. Hopefully the spotclean is better than this garbage.

I recently purchased a super duty truck from a guy who used it at as a work horse. The interior upholstery was muddy and full of dog hair. The little green worked like a champ. The small size is great because it can be easily carried and moved within the truck. It required pretreatment and several passes to get it clean, but it came out great. I went from thinking I would need to replace the upholstery...to getting my wife to actually enjoy riding in it!

I'm a renter, so when my pet had a HUGE accident on the carpet I thought I was going to be paying out of pocket to replace the carpet. I rushed out to buy a carpet shampooer in hopes of saving the carpet. I just happened to pick this one and I have been very happy with the results! It completely removed the stain and odor (although I did have to shampoo it twice, 24 hours apart#. I have also shampooed a couple of stains that were there when I got the apartment and it took those right up as well! It fits perfectly under the sink in my kitchen, too #which is important in a tiny apartment). I really think I got a great value with this product.

For my needs this works and I bought it on sale so that was an added bonus. Like basically everything about it except how it sprays - it sprays out/up instead of down - which is odd but I adjust. For small needs, stairs, furniture, car care, I recommend this. I also like the fact Bissell has/supports an animal foundation.

The little machine is simple and easy to use but did not do a great job. I am sorry I wasted my money. Because of this experience, I will look for another manufacturer. I am afraid to purchase another BIssell Product.

Bought this Proheat machine a few months ago and wonder what I did without it! It does pull lots of disgusting dark dirty water and whathaveyou out. Upholstery not like new but clean. So easy to use and haul around. So now for the downside... power cord is VERY short and I wish I could clean the power nozzle and dirty water container really clean... is that clear part above the brush head supposed to come off??? Eventually not being able to clean unit itself better might become a prob. I understand one should vacuum 1st, but in emergency not possible. The wide spray as reported is not that bad, just means you have to do a larger spot. All in all quite nice!

Bought this for pet accidents because I have had good luck with Bissell products in the past. This machine was a bad choice. Did not clean the accidents, just made a bigger mess no matter what technique I used. Ended up buying a Bisssell Spot Bot wich does a respectable job. Little Green was a big disappointment.

My new purchase replaces an older model that stopped working. Does the job as promised. Only drawback is the larger nozzle spraying more water sideways than either down or straight ahead. Only a minor problem though. I have two cats and a very old dog. Cleaned up stains and odor very well. I'm very happy with this product!

Does what it says it will, like the fact its light weight, not too loud, heats water and does clean. I got lucky in the store I went to to purchase this had this machine on clearance for 1/2 price!
If the plug in cord were longer, if it were made in the USA and if the larger cleaning brush sprayed down and not out (which I don't understand why it was made this way as the walls and my jeans ended up wet) I would've given this product 5 stars.

I used 2 full containers of cleaner to do 12 stairs plus small landing. The unit only collected about 20 cc's of dirty water in the collection tank. Tried various repeat/vacuum techniques/switch positions and heads to improve collection. Is this normal?

This little machine really does what it says. I used on my large area rug could not believe how soiled my rug was when i saw the black water. Also i have two small dogs that some times has a little accident on said rug. No matter what i used did not take the urine smell up but this machine did. :) Very easy to use and light weight. The only thing i did not like when using the larger sprayer it sprays out not down. This is a brand new machine so spray holes are not clogged. I used the smaller one for my task. This is why gave four stars.

I finally did my stairs, after 5 years .... the carpet looks brand new !!!! I even did the furniture....what a beautiful outcome that was as well..... I am very pleased with this product, especially the ease of toting it around with me :)

I got this portable steam cleaner because I have two big dogs and a medium one. The medium dog liked to "sprinkle" as a puppy and still has accidents on occasion. This is super helpful when cleaning up smaller messes; you don't have to get out the big deep cleaner. My favorite use is on stairs! It is more portable and easier to use for furniture. The tanks are big and easy to clean. Would recommend for anyone with pets or kids!

I had been using canned rug cleaner which required much effort with minimal results. This wet/vac machine is great due to size, mobility and results. The only minor issue is the spray apparatus. Sometimes water sprays outside of desired area, but if you know that upfront, you can focus on control of solution application.

I bought this machine as a replacement for a much older Little Green Machine that had just seen it's better days. This new one is great! Does a very thorough job of picking up after a pet "accident" as well as doing a great job on upholstery. I am very happy with it.

Just purchased this product today and used it right away on a cat urine spot. Quick and easy to set up, and so easy to use! Required many, many passes with the nozzle, but one expects to have to put a little elbow grease into a job like that, so no surprise there. The cleaner that I purchased for use with the unit has a very pleasant scent. The unit left the carpet fairly dry when I was done, but just to be safe, I put a small household fan on a low setting in front of the wet spot before leaving for the evening to go to a dinner party. The carpet was dry by the time I got home. I can no longer smell urine even if I put my nose right up to the carpet, but of course the test will come when we see if the cats can smell it and if they choose to re-soil that spot.
I have read other reviews of this product that complain about the spray being too wide and wetting an area past the edge of the nozzle, but I had no problem--you just keep the nozzle close to the carpet. I also read a couple reviews complaining about the device leaving the carpet too wet, but again, no problem; the instructions even address that--you just do some extra passes with just the vacuum function, not holding down the spray nozzle.
Seriously, I found it a no-brainer to use, easy to carry around, easy to set up, easy easy easy. My husband and I have three cats, one of whom has just been diagnosed with a chronic, ongoing urinary problem, so I will be using this product a lot! Now that I have this device, I no longer feel daunted by the prospect of my cat's urinary issues. YAY!

I love it!!! It has already paid for itself. amazing. I had very dirty walking areas in front of my couch, kitchen and bathrooms. Looks like brand new. I'm so happy that we bought this. Best investment yet. I will recommend this to my family and friends. :)

I got this for Christmas to replace a cordless one that I had for several years. Upon 1st use, I was missing a cap to the insert assembly. Upon contacting Bissell, they sent the entire cap and insert assembly the next day. I was delighted and happy with the results from using my cleaner and customer service. I also own a up-right ProHeat cleaner and very happy with the product. I'm a satisfied customer with these products, that I bought my daughter a ProHeat for Christmas. No disappoints with this product.

Cheap construction: The parts of the vacuum head fall apart. The plastic brackets holding the top and bottom of the unit break and the whole thing fell apart. Got filthy water all over my floor.
I have had two of these with the same problems. Never again.

I DID A FEW STEPS AND THEY DRYED FAST AND THEY LOOKED GREAT . I HAD A PRO COME IN AND DID MY STEPS LAST YR. I DIDI IT BETTER WITH THE LIITLE GREEN PROHEAT THEN THEY DID . IT IS SO LIGHT AND EAST TO USE ... I'M GOING TO TELL ALL MY FRIENDS .. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALLL 2013 ....

Bought product in February. Used 3 times and then in November when I had it all ready to use.....it would not work. Sprayer would not work at all and water leaked out the bottom. I was totally disappointed with it. Took it back to the store and replaced it with another one. I will see how this one lasts before I can say "I love my Little Green machine".

I CLEAN OUR COUGH AND RECLINER LOOK GREAT LIKE NEW! ITS A GREAT PRODUCT AND I WOULD BUY IT AGAIN WHEN THIS ONE WEAR OUT! I COULDN'T BE ANYMORE HAPPY WITH THIS LITTLE GREEN SPOT CLEANER. I have two large dogs that love to dig and a 9 year old that is a little clumsy, so my coaches , sofas, and other furniture take a beating. Well just last night red wine was spilt on the couch and I was able to start cleaning in a matter of minutes pulling the stain right out before it had a chance to set. Great portability easy set up and great results. I would highly recommend it. Only issue is make sure you rinse the hose and dirty water well out thoroughly or else it can get nasty and stinky.

Our car seats had black spots that I couldn't get out until I used the Bissell Green Machine. The first time I cleaned them I forgot to use the spot cleaner and most of it still came out. After they dried, I used the spot cleaner and re-cleaned them..... all the black spots came out. I'm impressed and will soon use it on the couch in our RV and expect similar results...

This product did a great job on cleaning our furniture that our pets have gotten dirty over time. One end of our couch was noticeably more dirty than the opposite end, now the whole couch looks great. The Little Green Proheat Deep Reach far exceeded my expectations for cleaning. It's easy to use.
The unit itself appears to be of good quality & durability. Another reviewer mentioned how when pressing hard with the tool that it cracked. Well, they had to have been almost standing on it.
I agree w/others that a 2nd tool holder would be nice if it were included but I've gotten around that when storing the unit. I put the smaller tool in the tool holder & the larger tool fits between the holder & the hose just fine.
