I bought this convenient powerful little unit because the large HEPA filter self propelled vac is getting tough for me to use after back and knee surgery. This little wonder is so dexterous and easy handling that even the hardest spots can be reached without bending - which at present I cannot do. Powerful, easy to handle and empty, I LOVE this machine for both home and RV - which is why I have two of them!

Love the way this sweeper glides around everything. Fits into small areas, picks up nice and is lightweight. We have a dog so we do have to turn it over every time we use it to pull the dog hair out of the roller but we have the same problem with our very expensive large sweeper. We have only had it for a couple weeks and hope it continues to clean as well as it does now. Would highly suggest picking this up for small clean ups.

I have had my Bissell Lift-Off Floors& More for a little over a month now and overall I am pleased with it. It is light weight which makes it easy to maneuver and I like the swivel handle so that I can get the vac under furniture and in small spots. It is relatively quiet and easy to use. I also like the fact that you have the use of the detachable hand-vac. On the down side, I wish the motor stayed charged up longer than it does. Also, I don't like the fact that you can't leave the vac free-standing - it doesn't lock in place so you have to make sure it is leaning against something or it will fall. The ultimate test will be to see how long this vac holds up to normal household use.

This is our first vacum of this type. A relative had one and after watching her use it we bought one. It's very versitile and has some excellent features. I have a bad back and this almost eliminates me getting down to clean the kitchen floor. It goes under the table and in between chairs with ease. I would recommend this one with out reservation.

Purchased, maybe an older model, at my local Lowe's Store. Got a clearance discount for this. It worked great on my hardwood floors in a 2 cat household, atleast until the 3rd time I used it. The handle would not stay latched. Based on some other reviews on this site, I decided to return for a refund vs to contacting Bissell. I noticed a newer model at my Lowe's store, but am leary of trying this one to only find it does the same thing. There was no reviews for this updated model: has charging pan vs to having to plug it in manually.

After using the vacuum for just a week, I found that it does a great job with the pet hair ( and my daughter's long hair too) I like the collapsing feature that allows me to get under the bed, and tables with out having to stoop down. The section manages to pick up small pieces of paper with out a problem. I fully charged the vacuum and managed to vacuum almost my whole apartment before it started to slow down. It's a light weight, highly functional alternative to a full sized vacuum.

Most of the floors in our home are hardwood. My Lift-Off Floors & More does an excellent job keeping the floors clean. It is markedly better picking up crumbs, dust "and more" than our previous electric broom. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone looking for an electric broom for cleaning hard-surface floors.

I bought this product a couple weeks ago for under the high chair, bathrooms and other areas that need frequently cleaned. It does a great job! Some features I enjoy are the fast charge, the strong suction power and that it works on low pile carpet. I also like how the handle folds down so you can store it in tight places.

I love my new cordless Bissell! I only drag out my heavy Kirby vacuum about once a week now! I use my Bissell daily for all the crumbs & dog hair. It is a quick clean-up & so light I truly love it!

I have had this vacumn for a couple of weeks, it is quiet, light, easy to use, easy to maneurver and swivels around furniture, I am a little disappointed as it doesn't have much power to pick up off the carpet and the battery doesn't hold power for long. Seems I am always having to charge it. I used to have a cordless stick vacumn and it seems to work better than the Bissell.

I received this as a Christmas gift following a back injury that made it impossible for me to lug around my heavy upright. It is incredibly light weight, easy to maneuver and allowed me to vacuum without bending.
I have 2 children, and it is great for spot cleaning after them, and small enough for my 11 year-old to comfortably use. I find that it is necessary to clean the filter after each use, rather than gently banging it to remove dust. I can typically clean one room before the battery needs to be recharged, which is frustrating.
My handle also broke, preventing it from staying locked into position. Today, after having dealt with this frustration for a couple of months (which only worsened with use) I called Bissell and was told that a replacement part will be sent to me. Excellent customer service!
I recommend this product for occasional/light use. I will be shopping for a canister vacuum for regular use, and use this as the glorified dust-buster that it is.

I have a small apartment and needed somethng smaller than a fullsize vacuum, which I had. The Lift-Off Floors is perfect. Easy to use, especially around chair legs, under furniture, good suction, no bags to throw out. I like the hand-held one coming as part of the cleaner, which I can use behind items and in small areas like tight corners.
I gave my old, large vacuum to a friend. Your Lift-Off Floors & More is also easy to store. In short......I simply love it! Norma Jean

I have an old Bissell "Boss" cordless vac which still works fairly well, but some of the little wheels have broken off and the brush gets stuck quite often,. I've taken it apart and cleaned it several times. Too bad you don't make the Boss anymore. Does the new one come with a charger that hangs on the wall so I can hang the vac on it to keep it out of the way?

the product is very light and easy to use. was a little unhappy with suction when using as hand vac. It does work great as floor vac and easy to get under furniture. We had only had about 1 month when handle broke, the part that allows handle to fold for under furniture use began to fold all during use, making it a real pain.l I contacted bissell by email and within few days received one by fed ex at no cost. The handle still feels a little flemsy. I would reccomend it to anyone, for the price paid get great value.

Love this vacuum for everything except the folding handle! Won't stay in locked position and very frustrating that you have to keep flipping it back up to use it. Otherwise Great! They should probably rethink this handle thing!

This is my third cordless vacuum cleaner.
I needed
1. light weight.
2. Had to be good on both floors and carpet
3. Able to pick up lots of pet hair.
It met those requirements, but it does get cloged very
easy. The opening and valve in the dirt bin is to small.
I have to use a long handled screw driver to pull the
pet hair out. Other than that I recommend it as a handy
unit to have around for quick clean ups.

I was skeptical of the product because of it being battery powered and so light weight. How could it possibly be as good as the old uprights? I was having trouble with my shoulder and found it hard to push my old upright around. I decided to buy it anyway thinking I could always return it if I didn't like it. Well I tried it and I love it..it is lightweight and is so handy for cleaning hardwood floors and throw rugs that I have throught my house. The fact that it also becomes a hand held vacuum just makes it a perfect product...TRY IT YOU'LL LIKE IT TOO.

I love this vacuum,BUT after 6 months use, the handle keeps on collapsing, very frustrating!! Everyting else about it is perfect. Will try to return to retailer and see what happens.

Bought this after reading the reviews. We just moved into a new home with very nice hardwood floors and with our dog shedding as much as he does, figured we needed it.
I charged it for 24 hours and just got around to using it and it worked great but after about 10-15 minutes it started dying out like the battery needed charging.
I got the Bissell site and that's when I noticed it only runs for 12.5 minutes. HUH??? That makes it tough to use on as much floor as we have.
Question for Bissell - Can the vacuum be run while plugged in? I'd be willing to use an extension cord if needed.

the cordless,2-1 vac.is the perfect solution for a quick pick-up especially for dog hair( i have a shedding 80lb.lab).this product does what it was made to do. i am very satisfied with this product.

i bought this and then noticed it only runs for a bout 12 mins. i was skeptical but i thought i would try it any ways. charged it for the 24 hours, then tried it. worked great. handled all that i put it through (dog hair that is.). lasted about 15 mins but i got alot done. i used it till it needed charging. i cleaned it top to bottom then charged it for the 16 hours required. when i went to use it , (and i was excited to use it), it didnt seem to b pickin up any thing. so i am totally bummed about it. i was loving everything about it. but now i am taking it back. it just doesnt do what i need it to do, and thats picking up dog hair and other messes..

Yay !! Who needs a magic spell for pet hair, when all you have to do is roll this back and forth over the offending surface a few times ?!?
I bid on this at a late spring charity event after recognizing it as the model recommended by my physical therapist, for a better option to address chronic dog hair removal versus the multiple and daily deep waist bends required to use my little cordless hand-held AND thus far, I couldn’t be happier !!!
As the mother of three, plus a shedding dog and the dirt, debris, and hair included in that package deal I have PLENTY (code for decades) of experience with cordless hand-helds and I give this Lift-off top marks. If you want to do a deep clean vacuum for your entire house, look elsewhere (like a full size plug-in vacuum cleaner), if you want a quick, easy, and painless (literally) option – check out this stick cleaner.
Pros – light, smooth, easily maneuvered, long lasting performance (remember the decades of experience ?? 12.5 minutes at full power IS a long time), easy to empty and re-assemble, and it really, really, picks up dog hair.
Cons – it really, really picks up dog hair (see pros) so you will probably need to empty it after each use, but it is easy to re-assemble (see pros, and decades of experience).
Finally, I see that the dog’s female humans shed as well and those long human hairs can affect the spinning brush rotation, but I have easily (and carefully) clipped them away with kid/school scissors I keep in the junk drawer and then just……..vacuum them up.
Buy it and enjoy your hairy dog and messy kids with a little more comfort !!

This cordless is PERFECT for me, my small apartment (mix of hard wood and carpet) and my 80 pound lab who sheds all day everyday. No messing around with cords, it is very light weight and can stow away and very small space, and is very attractive. The swiveling head makes it easy to use. also i love the hand vac that pops right out at the touch of a button it makes it easy to spot clean furniture, cars and hard to reach spaces. The suction is powerful and long. This vac is better than i expected. FYI:The battery charges best if the dust canister is empty.

My wife is disabled. She was not able to use the larger, older, much more bulky, vacuum cleaner. She can use her mobile chair and clean the tile floor, carpet, and wood floors with ease; using Lift-off Floors and more. We also have a dog and cat, so the pet hair is a constant. The removeable hand vac. is so handly. This picks up the hair effortlessly. It's a great product, best money I have spent on a vacuum in years.

Works great in the house with tile, stone, marble, various rugs, even carpet! I go from room to room with 1 device!! It rocks! I am so happy I can vacuum under the beds with the push of a button! So light even for arthritis sufferers! A+
