Rated 1 out of 5 by Laurie Battery blinking red to green
I got this vaccum a couple of weeks ago. The indicator light turned orange so I put the vaccum in the charger it turned green after a few hours and I took the vaccum out and the light is blinking and will not turn on. What is going on here? It seems to be completely broken after one use. I am very upset. Any feedback would help

Rated 3 out of 5 by DallasMom Adequate stick vac
We have had this stick vac for 6 months and primarily use it in our kitchen and laundry room on hard wood floors. It does an adequate job of cleaning. Had a different brand stick vac prior and it definitely had much better suction. It would pick up whole cheerios and this one will not consistently at all. Disappointing since we have three little kids and end up with quite a bit under the table. It is fairly easy to push and my older kids can use it after dinner to help clean up. It is fine but I would recommend to others to give others a try as well. If it needed to be replaced I would probably try a different one in the hopes for more suction.

This vacuum is completely impractical. In the first minute or two, the cup fills completely, even on lightly soiled carpet. Then emptying the cup is very messy. The only way to do the cleanup well is to wash everything which renders the unit useless until everything dries.

Rated 5 out of 5 by b-ri best stick vac I have used
I have been looking for a 2 in 1 vac for over a year now and have finally found the perfect one! I bought a couple others but I was not impressed and returned them right away. I resumed my search again recently and came across this new model and had to try it. Glad I did! I have had it now for a couple weeks and just finished a solid 30 minutes of cleaning the kitchen, both bathrooms a handful of rugs and the couch!! It was not running non-stop for the entire 30 minutes, with a few stops here and there, but ran most of that time. The craziest thing however was that it was still running very strong after all that cleaning!! It has plenty of suction to suck up the pet hair off the kitchen floor and to clean rugs and when in hand vac mode even sucks up dog food kibble. Only issue is the foam filter gets gunked up pretty fast. Solution: place one square of toilet paper in front of the foam filter. When done cleaning just toss the dirty tp and replace with clean one. I haven't noticed any issues with vacuum performance when doing this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Akacha Excellent Run Time!
It's been about a month since I started using my new Bissell Lift-Off® 2-in-1 Cyclonic Cordless Stick Vac and it works great! It has excellent sunction for a cordless vac and even seems to have more than the 21 minutes run time described in the specs.
I use it at least 2-3 times a week and it easily picks up dust and everday dirt on my ceramic tiles and area rugs. The cyclonic feature seems to make a difference. The unit swivels nicely around corners and the bumper guard feature helps to protect furniture. Cleaning the dust bin is easy and the average recharge time of 4-6 hours is much shorter than competitors. The handvac is easy to use and the attachments are good to have when needed.
The one design feature that would make this machine a home run is for it to "stand" on its own when in use and not in the charger base. It would make it easier moving chairs and other furniture around and not have to lean the unit up against the wall.

Rated 4 out of 5 by georgekitty works very well but big design defects with the dust bin
I have 3 children and 2 pets, so very year I have to buy at least 1 cordless vacuum. This one cleans best, i.e., my wood floor looks like wiped. It's also easy to use and the skinny cleaning pad can go between furnitures.
But I REALLY hate the dust bin. all the dirt are clogged at the Cyclone Assembly. And the even worse thing is, after every use, there is a film of dirt on the Pre-Motor Filter Sponge. So most dirt and hairs are clogged and only larger debris are actually in the bin.
I just feel it is not a real cyclonic vac, as the filters are so easily clogged.

My Bissell vacuum stopped working after only having it for a week. It simply shut off mid-vacuum and failed to turn back on. Thinking that it was a charging issue, I placed the vacuum back in the charging unit. After several hours charging, it would not turn on. I tried the on/off switch several times which caused it do something that isn't mentioned in the manual. Instead of a steady red or green light indicating charged/not-charged, it flashed between green and red. The only way to get it to stop was to remove the battery and re-insert it. Now, after a week of charging, it still does not turn on. My last vacuum I owned for eight years without an issue and I'm disappointed that this one couldn't last a week. I would not purchase again.
