How do I remove a stain from red wine?
Hosting the holiday gathering can be so much fun, but also very nerve wracking! These tips will help put those nerves at ease.
Stains like wine, cola and juice can be treated with BISSELL OxyPro® Stain Remover for Carpet. First, remove excess liquid or solid particles from the stain. Spray in a circular pattern, completely covering the stain. Do not rub it. Wait 5 minutes. Repeat application and wait overnight if any stain remains.

How can I remove the sour milk smell from spilled eggnog?
Here at BISSELL, we enjoy eggnog during the holidays as well! Luckily, a smelly stain like sour milk can be removed with BISSELL Enzyme products and carpet cleaning.
The best option for removing the sour milk from your carpets is to apply an enzyme product such as Pet Stain & Odor Pre-treat for Carpet & Upholstery
. Why a Pet Stain & Odor product you ask? Because it contains the enzymes that will eat the sour milk that is carpet into your carpet fibers. After treating the area place a damp towel over the stain for 48 hours. You may need to repeat this step depending on how carpet and how much milk was spilled.

Did you know candle wax is actually made of grease? Tough Stain Pre-Treat for Carpet & Upholstery is BISSELL's best grease dissolver, making it ideal for helping to remove candle wax from your carpet.
The best way to remove candle wax from your carpet is to pre-treat the area with BISSELL’s Tough Stain Pre-treat for Carpet & Upholstery to loosen the wax, and then use a deep cleaner with hot water. Gently work the solution into the area with a small brush, sponge or cloth using light strokes from the edges of the stain to the center. Do not rub the stain. Wait 5 minutes. The hotter the water the better because it dissolves the wax.
After pre-treating, we recommend deep cleaning with an upright or portable deep cleaner. If you do not have a deep cleaner follow the pre-treat with OxyPro® Stain Remover for Carpet, if any of the stain remains.

When it’s cold out, there’s nothing like hot chocolate to warm you up - until it ends up spilled on your carpet. Fortunately, BISSELL can help!
