my dogs name is dime

Our dog's name is Sparky.  He was rescued by fire fighters, hence the fitting name.

We also have a plethora of cats that have adopted us.  Fritz, Myrtle, and Isabella are siblings we rescued from stray cats in the neighborhood.  Beatrice is a cousing to the other three whom we also rescued.  Right after we moved, Louise showed up at our house and has decided to hang around for good.

The most recent addition to my family is Haylee. She is an Australian Shep mix that I adopted from the shelter. Haylee wasn't like the other dogs in the shelter. She didn't bark, cower, jump, or whine. She stood calmly watching me through the window that separated the lobby from where all the kennels were. I hadn't been in to see the dogs. Actually, I hadn't planned on it. But something wasn't right. I turned around and there she was. Our eyes met and we instantly bonded. At that moment knew I couldn't leave without her. She chose me and I wasn't going to let her down.

Currently have two dogs. A fluffy Papillon "with attitude" called Romeo, and a stubborn but devoted pug named Gucci, who never likes to be more than a foot away from me. Both are males.

My husband and I have a mixed breed kitty-- we think she is a ragdoll --named Ellie.
