Making it Last
Posted on 2/08/12 at 3:25 PM By Jaclyn Polglaze | 3 Replies
I live in a small apatrtment on the 2nd floor of a house, I purchased the featherweight vacuum once before, I loved how it operated at first, but then it started to not pick up at all, I would empty it and follow the steps in the user guide given, but nothing helped. I decided to buy another one yesturday, if you have any tips on how I can make this one last longer this time around ?
thanks

Make sure to clean the filters at least once a month. If they are washable make sure they are completely dry before putting them back in. I would maybe get a actual upright to clean the apartment. That featherweight is just a stick vacuum and probably isn't made for full cleaning duty. Plus they really don't clean well, especially if they don't have a brush roll.

Try to get it out of reach of children.
