I tend to agree.  I purchased the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Corded Hand vacuum.  Yes, it's good picking up pet hair but it's very versatile and cleans all very well.  I'm disabled and need lightweight productd which this is and one as easy as possible to use.  This is one of them.  I have the hand held plug in vacuums but there is no comparison and it's quite afordable.

I would get a Bissell that has a turbo brush because that would work just like the  bottom of the deep cleaner but it easier to use on the stairs.
