How do I clean cat hair off fabrics?

I don't have the special pet attachments for my bissell vacuum and the cats love to get on our kitchen chairs which are upholstered in white.  The cats are black.  Any suggestions?

I use the sticky roller that has sheets you can peel off when they get full of hair, lint, crumbs, etc.  I don't notice any sticky residue left behind.

If clothes then I would use a lint roller or if you want just masking tape.  If furniture I would use the tools on my Bissell vacuum.

Do you have one of those plastic lint brushes?  Not the sticky rollers, but the ones with fibers oriented in one direction.  They do a great job of getting cat hair off stuff.
