Clothing for me personally...not my whole family. I have 4 suits for workdays. When I am home I have 4 pair of sweatpants plus p.j. pants. Because the hubby hates to see me in these to go out, I have 2 pair of jeans. About a dozen socks which are pitched if they get thread bare or a hole. Under clothing is replaced in a similar manner.

Also, recycling clothing to Salvation Army. They help the community in a number of ways.

If there is a favorite piece of clothing that one does not want to get rid of I will cut it up to use in a patchwork quilt for them. Old jeans that cannot be donated because of stains or holes...the back of the legs are usually in fine shape and can be cut up for a jean rag quilt or to make my own green grocery bags. Atleast try to recycle before getting rid of something.

If there was a fire and you only had a few minutes to save "STUFF" what things would it be?! Makes the process alot easier when having trouble to decide on a what matters most.

IF YOU HAVE NOT USED IT IN 3 YEARS IT DOES NOT NEED TO BE IN THE HOUSE OR JUST GET RID OF IT.

6 months is the cut off!  If you haven't used it and/or thought about it---out it goes!  Once the clutter starts to disappear you'll be glad you disposed of it!

If you haven't used it in 6 months chances are you won't use it again.  This is very true for clothes.

If it hasn't been used and I don't have a good place to put it, it's gone.
