Stuff can really build up.  To keep it down, get in this habit:  every time you bring a new thing into the house (not including food), choose one thing to donate to a charity.

My wife just recently went through all my boyes clothes and we where deciding what to do with them so we decided to leave all the clothes to a needy family on there door step while they where sleeping it is better to give to a needy family then it is to give it to profit organization like goodwill that there prices are to high for some needy familys when you could just drop it off at there house without them knowing about it or who it came from

That's easy, the one that you don't use and the one that you would use is the one that you use a lot. Give them away to some people that were poor. Or, then have a yard sale.

If I haven't touched it in a year, it can go to Goodwill.

The best method is to get in the habit of throw stuff away. If you know you don't used certain items instead of holding on to it throw it away.

If you dont use the item, or know you wont use it in the next 6months, then I get rid off it. I either give to friends/family or sale it or most times donante it.

If you don't use it, get rid of it by donating to a good cause, school or church.
