it depends on if there is a good finish/ wax on the floor, if so than anything you want to use will work, if not then be carefull real wood with to  much water will ruin floor

A good versatile broom that has some static electricity charge and my floors are hard pine not polyeurathane so unfinished. I use a type of wood cleaner and polish on my floors and apply it with of course a bissell.

every product i use leaves a dull, waxy residue. and they are still dirty. i'm just wondering if the steam will hurt the wood floor.
