Original Oxy Clean was very "green," but they've changed the formulation. Back "in the day" it was so gentle you could clean your deck with it and not worry about the run off hurting your plants or pets. I have been using it since it was only available on the shopping channels. It is awesome in laundry. I also use hydrogen peroxide on my carpets.
Going Green isn't just about the products themselves; it's also about how their packaged and how far they travel to get to you. Buying local is one of the very best Green steps you can take.

I use plain Listerine for disinfecting due to an allergy in the family to bleach related products. It works great.
