do you use a steam mop to clean laminted wood floors?

If so,how long have you used a steamer on laminted and/or real wood

floors and have you had any issues?

Floor company's suggest only using their wood floor cleaning products,no water/steam but nothing cleans better than my Bissell steamer!!!

I don't want my laminate floor to start delaminating or warping at seams/edges so I am careful of amt of steam applied.

I tried to use my Bissell steam mop to clean my laminate wood floors, but I really didn't like the results....so, I now use a wood floor cleaning solution w/a microfiber mop after vacuuming thoroughly. This gives me the best results.

Hopefully a new generation of steam mop will have more temp choices......:)

I haven't tried it yet.  I'm not sure it is worth the risk since my floor manufacturer does not recommend it, but if other steam mop owners have had good success, I'll give it a try.
