I make sure that I use allergy friendly products. I also keep it cold all year around because the warmer conditions make my allergies 10X worse. I'm always cleaning & scrubbing plus I wash my hands on a constant basis. There are no allergy medications that work for me. I've tried allot of products out there & nothing seems to work even the ones my doctor has prescribed. I take showers atleast twice a day (when I wake up & when I go to bed). Also I keep the animals in my household bathed & groomed on a regular basis.
