How Does the Flip-!t® work?
 The Flip-!t® Hard Floor Cleaner has a unique design that allows it to change from dry suction to wet cleaning simply my flipping the unit from one side to the other. You begin by using the dry side to vacuum debris. When the unit is flipped around and the handle is tilted back, the Gentle Clean™ Brush is automatically lowered for wet cleaning. When the Formula Trigger is squeezed, water and formula are dispensed on the floor. Then the Gentle Clean™ Brush or Pad cleans the floor, and the squeegee and suction leave the floor virtually dry.

When using the select version, you can also turn on the heated cleaning feature, which gives you more cleaning power and helps to clean sticky or difficult messes more effectively.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Worth TWICE its weight in gold (it's very lightweight) I bought this Flip-It on Halloween 2006 to use on four small areas of vinyl flooring - kitchen, entrance hall and two bathrooms. Loved it for that. Then I had to have all the carpets and flooring taken up because of mold, and instead of buying new carpets I wound up paying for asbestos abatement - all the vinyl had been laid over linoleum! I could only afford to paint the cement slab floor throughout the house. Yes, I have a big expensive steam cleaner that I used for carpets when I had 'em, and a big expensive vacuum, but my Flip-It is what I use most of the time. It does the work of the two big machines, and takes less time to set up and use. I love that the brush scrubs the floors, but it doesn't damage the paint. With cats and dogs coming and going through the yard year-round, I can wipe up muddy footprints easily. I'm online today to buy a replacement clean tank cap with insert because I wore this one out (took nearly seven years). When it started leaking I had to drag out the big steam cleaner to finish the job - a reminder of how much easier the Flip-It is! May 27, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by I highly recommend the Flip-!t® Select Hard Floor Cleaner. I owned a hard floor steamer from Bissell which was a good machine. No matter what conditioner I used my wood floors always streaked. And of course I had to vacuum before steaming so I had 2 machines out. This is so easy as you can use a dry vacuum, flip it over and use the steam cleaning function. The best part of the steam cleaning function is that the vacuum will also pull up the excess water. There is no streaking and oh wow, the water extracted during this operation is black. I recommend this product to everyone who has a hardwood or ceramic tile floor. January 31, 2013

The Select Hard Floor Cleaner is heavy to use and a lot of hassel with cleaning and emptying things. Would not recommend this machine. Please bring the smaller machine back on the market. Thought this would save her some time and be more convenient. The actual unit is a good size and not too heavy. The first time it was used, the solution leaked from the clean water tank through the body of the unit and onto the floor. I would not recommend this product to anyone. December 26, 2012

I have purchased a few Flip-Its over the years because I actually wore them out! I do my floors 3 times a week and really put this product to work. I buy replacement filters and other parts from Bissell but the only thing I wish is that removable brush could be a replacement part purchase, since you can remove it. September 1, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good product for the price I have hardwood flooring and vinyl plank flooring along with multiple dogs and cats. My Bissell Healthy Home carpet machine is too large to lug around daily to clean doggy accidents so while searching for a hard floor cleaner I happened across the Flit-!t. Not the most advanced product on the market, but it works! No more mopping around dirty water, no having to lug the heavy machinery out, no more batteries for a wet jet (that never seems to work in my household). I love that the Flip-!t is like a vacuum, mop, and squeegee all in one. The vacuum easily picks up the pet hairs and doggy accidents, leaving behind a clean floor. It's lightweight and easy to maneuver around the house. The only "issues" that I personally have with the machine is the dirty water cup. It is somewhat top heavy, so if you set it down and aren't careful it tips, or a few times when trying to remove it from the machine my arthritis has caused me to drop it, spilling dirty water all over the clean floor. It seems that the dirty water cup could use some type of latch mechanism to keep the two pieces together. The other issue, albeit minor is I find it a struggle to insert the dirty cup, it does require a bit of a push to get it to lock into place. That being said, overall it is a good machine for the price, it does what it should. If you expect it to really scour your floors and vacuum up a pound of debris, then this machine probably isn't for you. June 12, 2012

When will my order arrive?
After adding items to your shopping cart, you will able to choose from two shipping options: standard (5-7 business days) and expedited (3-5 business days). Next to each option is a delivery estimate date window, which will calculate dates including "business days" and determine when your shipment will arrive. 

 

How are estimated delivery dates calculated?

  • Orders placed before 3pm ET on a business day process and ship on the same day. Business days count forward from there.
  • Orders placed after 3pm ET or on weekends/holidays will process and ship the following business day. Business days count forward from there.

 

What are considered business days?
Business days include Monday–Friday and exclude holidays. Holidays in 2013 include: March 29, May 27, July 4, September 2, November 28, November, 29, December 24, and December 25.

 

When will I receive my tracking number?
Tracking numbers are sent to you in an email about 24-48 hours after your order ships. This delay allows the shipment to be processed by the shipment carrier’s website. However, don’t fret! Your order will still arrive within the original estimated window.

The email will arrive with the subject, “Your BISSELL shipping confirmation”. You can also visit the View Your Order page anytime to find the latest status of your order, including its tracking number once it has shipped.

 

What carrier will be used to ship my order?
BISSELL uses multiple carriers to ship products. The carrier who ships your order is selected by our shipping department and depends on many factors including items purchased, delivery address, warehouse inventory levels, and more.

 

Will my entire order arrive in one shipment?
Multi-item orders may require shipments from multiple warehouse locations, so you may receive some items separately. Details for each shipment will be provided by email and will be available on the View Your Order page.

 

What about orders outside of the continental US?
Standard shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, American Samoa and Virgin Islands will arrive within 15 business days.

 

What about P.O. Boxes or Military Addresses?
If you have a P.O. Box, an APO or a military address, you will need to place your order over the phone by calling BISSELL Customer Care at 1-800-237-7691 during these hours:
Monday- Friday: 8am to 10pm ET
Saturdays: 9am to 8pm ET
Sundays: 10am to 7pm ET

Return Policy

BISSELL.com’s return policy is simple and convenient:

  • If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, return it for a replacement or full refund within 30 days of the delivery date.*
  • You can arrange for at-home pick-up of your return
  • Pay just $4.95 in return shipping
*For safety reasons, cleaning formula purchases cannot be returned or refunded.

Return Instructions:

  1. Pack all items (including all accessories and manuals) securely and include the packaging list that was sent with the order.
  2. Attach the return address label on the outside of the package being returned. A $4.95 return shipping fee will be deducted from your bill.
  3. Take the package to an authorized ship center, or if you would like to schedule a pick-up call the FedEx Return Program at (888) 777-6040.

Refund Information:

Once we receive the merchandise, it will be inspected to make sure it meets quality standards. BISSELL Inc. reserves the right to deny refund for returned merchandise which appears to be excessively used or abused.

The refund will be issued in either check or credit format based on the original purchase once the return has been processed at our facility. Note that the original shipping and handling costs will not be refunded.

If you are out of the 30 day window for returns, refer to the warranty policy in your user's guide.
