How Does the Flip-!t® work?

The Flip-!t® Hard Floor Cleaner has a unique design that allows it to change from dry suction to wet cleaning simply my flipping the unit from one side to the other. You begin by using the dry side to vacuum debris. When the unit is flipped around and the handle is tilted back, the Gentle Clean™ Brush is automatically lowered for wet cleaning. When the Formula Trigger is squeezed, water and formula are dispensed on the floor. Then the Gentle Clean™ Brush or Pad cleans the floor, and the squeegee and suction leave the floor virtually dry.

Rated 1 out of 5 by I will sell my Bissell Flip it Cheep I bought a Bissell Flip it to clean my tile floors throughout my home. It cleans off surface dirt, but if I want to clean the deep down dirt I have to push down very hard on the Bissell to get some of the dirt out. It’s a lot of work. If you want a surface floor cleaner, this one will work. If you want one that actually gets the ground in dirt out, this is not the one. October 4, 2012

The vacuum side does not get up as much hair as I have in my house with 3 cats and a husky, so I do need to vacuum first, but it cleans and then sucks up the dirt into a container! I paid a lady $180 to clean my vacant house to rent it and the floors were still dirty. I was in a hurry and had to go back with my flip it. I cleaned the floors one time with the flip it, got cups of dirty water out of it. Went over the floors with a white towel and they were CLEAN! She said she cleaned the floors 3 times, not sure with what product, maybe one of those mops that just moves dirt around... Now she wants a Flip-It! August 26, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great! I have a white tile floor in my kitchen, not to mention a husband, 2 kids and 3 dogs. I could sweep, mop and then dry (with a towel) daily. This makes it easier by giving me an all-in-one tool! The best part is that the suction really does get my floor even more dry than if I dried it on my own with a towel. Kudos! July 28, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Would buy again Bought the Flip it primarily for the wet mop/vacuum feature so have not used the dry vac much. But it cleans great using the wet side. Unbelievable how much dirt it picks up even after a thorough sweeping and vacuuming of my hardwood floors. Light weight and easy to use so it doesn't tire you out like manual mopping, plus it sucks up the dirty water and cleaning fluid mixture so it doesn't dry on the floor like it would if you just used conventional mop method. Recommended the Flip it to my daughter-in-law for her new house based on my experience with it. June 9, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by I like this I've had this 'Flip-it" for years and really like it. I've never used the vacuum function because I bought it to use for cleaning my tile floors. I like that it vacuums up the dirty water so I'm not spreading all that dirt around the room. I wash the floor, then fill the tank with clean water and rinse. It sucks up all the water and the floors dry in a few minutes. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an easy, mess free way to wash your hard surface floors. February 4, 2012

I like the way it cleans my hard wood floors, but it keeps breaking in the same place. 1st my plumber and twice my cleaner have somehow knocked it over in the closet where it is kept and the top has completely broken away from the bottom. There would need to be some improvements made to that piece before I would consider buying this product again. February 2, 2012

When will my order arrive?
After adding items to your shopping cart, you will able to choose from two shipping options: standard (5-7 business days) and expedited (3-5 business days). Next to each option is a delivery estimate date window, which will calculate dates including "business days" and determine when your shipment will arrive. 

 

How are estimated delivery dates calculated?

  • Orders placed before 3pm ET on a business day process and ship on the same day. Business days count forward from there.
  • Orders placed after 3pm ET or on weekends/holidays will process and ship the following business day. Business days count forward from there.

 

What are considered business days?
Business days include Monday–Friday and exclude holidays. Holidays in 2013 include: March 29, May 27, July 4, September 2, November 28, November, 29, December 24, and December 25.

 

When will I receive my tracking number?
Tracking numbers are sent to you in an email about 24-48 hours after your order ships. This delay allows the shipment to be processed by the shipment carrier’s website. However, don’t fret! Your order will still arrive within the original estimated window.

The email will arrive with the subject, “Your BISSELL shipping confirmation”. You can also visit the View Your Order page anytime to find the latest status of your order, including its tracking number once it has shipped.

 

What carrier will be used to ship my order?
BISSELL uses multiple carriers to ship products. The carrier who ships your order is selected by our shipping department and depends on many factors including items purchased, delivery address, warehouse inventory levels, and more.

 

Will my entire order arrive in one shipment?
Multi-item orders may require shipments from multiple warehouse locations, so you may receive some items separately. Details for each shipment will be provided by email and will be available on the View Your Order page.

 

What about orders outside of the continental US?
Standard shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, American Samoa and Virgin Islands will arrive within 15 business days.

 

What about P.O. Boxes or Military Addresses?
If you have a P.O. Box, an APO or a military address, you will need to place your order over the phone by calling BISSELL Customer Care at 1-800-237-7691 during these hours:
Monday- Friday: 8am to 10pm ET
Saturdays: 9am to 8pm ET
Sundays: 10am to 7pm ET

Return Policy

BISSELL.com’s return policy is simple and convenient:

  • If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, return it for a replacement or full refund within 30 days of the delivery date.*
  • You can arrange for at-home pick-up of your return
  • Pay just $4.95 in return shipping
*For safety reasons, cleaning formula purchases cannot be returned or refunded.

Return Instructions:

  1. Pack all items (including all accessories and manuals) securely and include the packaging list that was sent with the order.
  2. Attach the return address label on the outside of the package being returned. A $4.95 return shipping fee will be deducted from your bill.
  3. Take the package to an authorized ship center, or if you would like to schedule a pick-up call the FedEx Return Program at (888) 777-6040.

Refund Information:

Once we receive the merchandise, it will be inspected to make sure it meets quality standards. BISSELL Inc. reserves the right to deny refund for returned merchandise which appears to be excessively used or abused.

The refund will be issued in either check or credit format based on the original purchase once the return has been processed at our facility. Note that the original shipping and handling costs will not be refunded.

If you are out of the 30 day window for returns, refer to the warranty policy in your user's guide.
