When I got my new carpet cleaner after my old Bissell quit working, I was so excited I had to use it right away! It was easy to put together, and easy to use. I did not have to stop and refill the water tank even once, which was nice, as I would have to stop two or three times with my old cleaner. I have two dogs and two cats, so we have a lot of pet hair around and lot of accidents. That said, we clean the carpets pretty often, and with the cleaner coming completely apart and being very easy to clean and put back together, it is incredibly convenient. I would highly recommend this carpet cleaner to my friends and family.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Joknee925 Very pleased
I got my new Bissell and it was so humid, I waited until it was nice so I could open the windows. But it was worth the wait, my carpets look cleaner than when I bought this house!! Thanks for making a good machine!

I bought the DeepClean Premier after reading the reviews. I am so pleased with how this machine cleaned my carpet and area rugs.
It took no more effort than vacuuming the carpets. I did not have a problem with the length of the cord but the attachment for the stairs should fit more secure in the holder because when I would run the cleaner along the wall, the attachment would fall from the holder.
I would recommend this cleaner. Clean up was easy and being able to take the cleaner apart makes it super easy to clean the parts after cleaning the carpet.

This is my 3rd carpet cleaner. I purchased this one online due to the reviews that were posted. I have used it to clean all of the carpets in our home, and large area rugs. With the spot pre treatment everything came out. I am so happy I do not have to call in a professional company anymore.

Rated 2 out of 5 by sally wont spray out water
I purchased the cleaner in oct or Nov of 2013. I have used it maybe 6 times. I have to say when it works it does a good job cleaning the carpet. I have to constantly pick the tank up and put it back on for it to spray water. Now no water will come out at all, and i'm fed up. I have done all the trouble shooting that i know to do. I hope bissell will take it back and give me a another one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by BrokenLidClip Poor Tank Assembly - Breaks Easily Within Months and No Replacement Parts Available (for almost 1/4 the cost)
I purchased this cleaner within 6-12 months and was disappointed that the tank assembly clip (clear attachment) to hold on the tank link broke attempting to refill the product. After using the product the less than 10 times I would not expect this to happen.
I was able to locate the product on Bissell.com but found out that a replacement was almost a 1/3 of the cost of a new cleaner and were out of stock. Now I just have an expensive coat rack...

This steam cleaner works great! We had an hold Hoover prior to this one and I can definitely see the difference in the new one! The water stays warmer much longer, the tank cleans a rather large area too. I wasn't sure how I would like the clean water bladder inside of the dirty, but it seems to work well. Very easy to remove and clean also. Also happy with the ease of removal of the cover over the brushes.
Cons: The enclosed cup to measure out the carpet cleaner formula DEFINATELY needs a home on the next model. I used the cup while I cleaned the carpets the first time and "set it somewhere I wouldn't forget" and promptly lost it. Now I have to guess on the amount of formula every time I use it.
The assembly manual needs to be reviewed. I'm an engineer so when I read through it, and it didn't actually tell you to tighten screws down, so I didn't. Later when I realized that the manual should have told me to in an earlier step I did. Didn't seem to hurt anything, but needs to be looked at.
