Just bought mine last night, was tired of renting the Bissell from the store. Hooked it up today, and had trouble at first with getting it to work properly. I had no suction and my brushes wouldn't turn.. however, if you read the instructions and properly seat the top part, it works wonderfully!! :) My 6 year old dog, is jealous of the 9 month old grandbaby, and has started leaving me wet spots on my carpet. The suction was great, the dirt that it sucked up was gross.. My only suggestion is in the future they make the water tank hold more clean water.

WE have had several carpet cleaners in the past but the new Bissell Lift off is the best by far. It has better suction and more cleaning power than any of the others . If we need another in the future it will be a Bissell.

As soon as I unpacked and put the machine together I shampooed my living areas (2) and it cleaned it so good that it actually looks like new carpet. Very pleased with it. I totally recommend it .

This is our second Bissell, the first one worked real well but the new one is even better. It is lighter and is easier to maneuver. I like that the solution is added to the water instead of in a separate dispenser.

Recently purchased a lift-off unit. Used it first to clean steps with off-white carpet. Great job with the lift-off piece; easy to use; easy clean-up. Looking forward to using the upright portion for a full room cleaning.

I got this a couple of weeks ago to replace my Hoover scrubber. I did my research and decided to go with Bissell deep cleaning system and I am so happy that I did. I did my bedroom rugs and they came out fantastic. Then I did my couch and chair and I was shocked on how dirty the water was! I put the cleaner away and 2 days later my dog got sick and it was over the bedroom carpet that I just cleaned. I took the portable and cleaned it up in a jiffy! Then she got sick on the hardwood floors and it went down in the cracks and boy was I glad I had that to get that out of the cracks! In my opinion, this was a great investment!

My cousin and I live together in our Grandmother's old house and we are currently in the process of rehabbing it. A large portion of the house is carpeted and the carpet is about 20 years old...It had never been cleaned and was in awful shape. My cousin, who, by the way, is a contractor, was planning on replacing it...I tried convincing him to split the cost of this machine with me but he insisted it would be a waste of $ bc the carpet was beyond cleanable...so I went out and bought it myself. After going over the carpet twice with this machine it looks like it's brand new...now instead of spending somewhere around $3,000 replacing the carpet, we just need to get it stretched...I bought the machine about 2 wks. ago so as long as it holds up, the five star rating will remain! Oh, and a little side note; I've always been a huge fan of Hoover and originally purchased the "max extract77." After going to refill the fresh water tank for the first time during its initial use, it started leaking cleaning solution and water everywhere. This machine is worth the couple extra bucks...Bissell has definitely won me over! I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I didn't think my carpet would come clean but it looks new again. I have 2 cats and a dog and a bird. It cleaned all the stains with out pre treating.Wounderfull machine and if you have pets this is the one to buy.

I used this machine as soon as I got home with it and was pleasantly pleased with the results! A couple troublesome stains took 2-3 times to come out but all in all they all came out and the carpet looks and smells great!

Im sorry to say i am very disappointed in my purchase of the Bissell lift-off deep cleaning pet 2 in 1 machine,10 years ago i purchased the little green machine and its worked great,thats why i bought this new one,Here are the complaints i have,the water tank holds 2.5 cups off water,that will clean a 8'x8' area then you have to empty and fill again,at the same time you will need to plug in the electrical cord in another plug because its a very short cord, i found that it does not pick up the water very well and just makes a wet mess.If you are thinking of buying one of these don't do it,You should look and research other brands.I don't know why but i have read the reviews on the Bissell and most of them are good ? I think they must work for Bissell.anyway this is my review.

I just finished cleaning rugs, carpets, and furniture with my new bissell great job, and the attachment is so easy to remove and clean out. much better than other cleaners that I have used in the past.

I highly recommend the Lift-Off Deep Cleaning System! The results were excellent! There is a big difference in the carpet. Some places I could not reach because we didn't move any large furniture. WOW! I'll move the furniture next time. Since we have animals, I have used the removable spot cleaner several times. Thanks so much for this great machine!
OH, I also cleaned the cushions on the dining room chairs - they look so much better now.

I actually aquired this particular model by default. I had to return the original purchase (2X Pet Anti,etc.) to exchange and lo, the store had NONE. The manager then showed me what was available, and I saw this model and said OK, as long as its a Bissell. Well I must say that I have NEVER experienced a clean like this! I used it the day after I purchased it, and was amazed. Only one little problem: it took three days for my body to recover. **Literally. This is a most powerful Cleaner! I realize now that I must pay someone to do the carpet as I did today, but it is worth it (and keeps my Dr. happy)! It really lives up to its name. I use the Pet, Odor Control and Allergen cleaners in my machine, and the outcome is awesome; the machine addresses all areas that I need. I know it for sure when the dirty tank is full. The entire house smells wonderful, and we haven't done the final three yet.

This is the 2nd Bissell I have owned. I have a stomach condition that I vomitt a lot. This product works like a champ for cleaning anything. I have used it on vomit, pet accidents, you name it, I have used it. It's perfect!

SO GLAD I CHOSE BISSELL
When we were in wallmart my 15 year old grandson brought all the features the bissell carpet cleaner had and all the cleaning brushes on it.Well we bought it and I used it in my living room on the dirty carpet and it brought back the new carpet look ,just like doing a load of dirty laundry and having everything come out sparkling bright,this machine was easy to assemble and did the job fantastically!!! and it cleaned up very easily after the job was done and my carpet was dry in a few hours---way to go bissell.

My husband and I were ready to purchase a different carpet cleaner when we looked closely at the Bissell Lift -Off Cleaning System. So easy to fill the solution and also remove the container of dirty water. We knew our carpet was slightly soiled BUT the dirty water extracted showed us it was quite soiled. The suction is terrific. We were able to put the furniture back after only about 3 hours. Our carpet looks like it did when first installed.

I bought this cleaner today brought it home and cleaned everything i could in my house. It did an excellent job on the carpet and my sectional couch. It took stains out that were at least a year old in the carpet. It was nice to be able to switch from cleaning the couch to the floor within a few seconds. The only problem was the solution and dirty water tank are somewhat small. Also it came with a two year warranty versus other brands one year. I planned on putting bissell's scotch guard solution to the test with two kids and a rabbit. I highly reccomend this product for anyone.

I have an older Bissell, but it was hard to clean up after each use. This new Lift-Off Deep Cleaning system was so easy, this is a special feature of this machine. I still gave it an excellent rating, however it is a little heavy to move back and forth. Need to make one self-propell. Also the other problem was the screws for the handle. I took it to a Bissell Dealer and it was simple for him to attach the handle. All and all this cleaner did a beautiful job in cleaning my carpet. I'm very happy with it.

WE have had our Bissell dee cleaning system for about 2 weeks now and have been cleaning carpets in the heavy traffic area of our family room, hallway, guest bedroom and master bedroom. These areas have not been cleaned in years and the color of the extracted water proves it! The Bissell Deep Cleaning machine is oustanding. I know what I am talking about because I was an Environmental Serives manager for 16 years and have hundreds of hours of carpet cleaning with commericial machine. The Bissell Machine does equal if not better work! It is easy to maneuver and the scrubbing brushes remove the soil quickly. I only with the tanks were larger. A GREAT MACINE!

I love the cleaning capabilities of this machine! It has worked well; except for wet balls of debries all over my carpet. I have a new kirby vaccuum and I know they floors are pretty free of my most loose debri. I have a newly constucted home, but everytime I use the machine and push it forward and pull it back it leaves this debries that almost look like wet dryer vent debries. Other than that, I love it. I just have to spend additional time manually picking up these wet messes...

I HAVE USED SEVERAL TIMES AND HAS WORKED VERY WELL. BUT IT HAS LOST ALL SUCTION.. I HAVE CLEANED SUCTION GATE , AND CHECKED THE SEAL OF WATER TANKS THERE IS SUCTION AT THE RED FILTER AND THE TUBE NEXT TO IT. BUT WHEN YOU PUT TANKS IN NO WATER IS BROUGHT UP TO TANK. WHAT ELSE CAN I TRY?

Just used my new Lift-Off for the first time on a frieze carpet. I debated a long time about this purchase wondering if it would untwist or mat up the carpet - it didn't, and I am very pleased with the result. The carpet looks new again! I am rinsing it with clear water following the cleaning once it dries. The result is a softer carpet and shouldn't attract dust or dirt. I used the deep reach hand tool on the stairs. Cleaned well however the tool sprayed parallel to the step if I lifted it up the least bit. It sprayed the wall and me until I kept it pressed into the carpet. The edges of the steps were a problem tho. Any suggestions?Overall I feel I made a good purchase!

I bought this machine and when I used it the first time it worked like a charm. I absolutely loved it. Sadly, I haven't been able to get it to work since. I can't even get it to so much as spray, not even a little bit. I can't find my receipt to return it so... guess that money went down the toilet. I'll know better next time.
I like Bissel vacuums though!

Wow! I love my new Lift Off Carpet Cleaner! Unbelievable! I have two small dogs that refuse to be housetrained. It is a constant battle that I am loosing. I tried my sisters Bissell and quiet frankly it is a piece of junk. I was very sceptical when I purchased the Lift-Off. I am astounded at the great job that it did. My puppy stained carpets look almost new again. The only reason I did not give it 5-stars is because the water tank is small and has to be refilled frequently. Other than that is is awesome. I could not believe the filthy water I was dumping down my sink, that was in my carpet. If you have any reservations, please know you will not be disappointed. I am very much a hard-to-please consumer and I am pleasantly surprised, especially after my experience borrowing my sisters Bissell (different model). One last thing, this machine is a bit "touchy". In other words everything has to be absolutley put in its place or it will not work. Once I figured that out I was off and running.

Initially the spray attachment on the small lift off unit did not spray, only sucked, although water would come out without the spray, scrub attachment. I assume that the spray nozzle was plugged in manufacturing. I called customer service and they shipped out another, which arrived in about 2 days. I would like there to be and IN/OUT feature on the tanks as it would make it much easier to flush the clean and dirty tanks. Especially here in Hawaii where the dirt flies like dust and gets into the carpets as we step off the lanai. I have multiple units and have already worn out two carpet shampooers, so we shall see how this one lasts.
