Since the first commercial, I wanted this machine....I have two dogs and wall to wall carpet. The older dog is trained, but the puppy is a nightmare at times, he will even look to see if you're watching. I love my lift off and I can't wait to finish my house. Thank you BISSELL......

I puchased this machine with high hope of versatility. This machine cleans fantastic, the suction is great and very easy to manuver. I returned it because of the folloing reasons. First the clean and dirty water tank are extreemly small. You make two small passes on the carpet and they are done. The cord is about 10 feet shorter than the modle 9200, (My old one) and you don't have an adjustment for how you want it to clean. Light, Normal or Heavy traffic. I like to rinse my carpet and to do that isn't as simple as turning a dial. With this machine you'll have to refill that small tank with plain water. For me I'm going back to the Bissell Model 9200.

I love my new deep clean lift off and I would give it a 5 star except for the cord needs to be longer and the water tank need to be bigger. I was very impressed with the ease of use, I didn't have to struggle with it. It is so much easier to empty the dirty tank, you don't have to fight to get it clean, just spray it out and you are done. It cleans like a dream.

One of the first things I replaced after the devastation to Superstorm Sandy was my Bissell carpet shampooer! The storm took our first floor and made a disaster of our second floor. I wasn't too sure I would be able to remove the amount of filth and grime that had covered our carpets. WOW!! the Bissell Deep Cleaner did such an amazing job! the water that I dumped out of the tank was actually black and filled with sand!, I did have to shampoo a few times but the carpets look better than they did before Oct 29th!, My only suggestion is a redesign to the tank as it was hard to empty out the sand. I would recommend the Bissell to everyone!!

Easy to use, quick set up, and cleans great. The Bissell cleaning formulas work fantastic with this cleaner. It took out old stains and dried quickly. I do own an expensive Kirby vaccuum/shampooer. It is on its third breakdown in 10 years. I havent had it fixed yet because every repair turns out to be extremely expensive. I opted to use the money to get this instead and I am glad I did.
I really like Bissell products.

Bought another brand, didn't clean to our satisfaction. We like this one so much more, cleans as it should. Negative is it is heavy. Freebie should be regular carpet cleaning fluid instead of pet cleaner.

I paid a little more that I normally do for a carpet cleaner, but the best feature was the lift off cleaning system for our stairs and small spots. I have 2 dogs who sometimes like to pretend the carpet is grass. In one room, the stains were pretty bad, and the previous Bissell I owned did just an okay job. I was amazed at how clean the carpet was after one pass over the carpet. The amount of dirt was evident in the collection tank. The carpets came out looking great, and even the couch cushions came out looking like new. The absolute BEST $259 ever spent on a carpet cleaner! I have always bought Bissell, and will always buy Bissell!

I have one of the bigger models (a Bissell also) and this smaller version works just as well. I think it is easier to use. It cleaned up easier than my larger one. I can remove the motor and carry that up the stairs then the rest of the unit. It is just as powerful as my larger model. I did have to get use to snapping the motor on the unit properly. Once thats was done it worked great.

Thanks for this product. My carpets are about 25 years old. I can not afford new, so I take care of them. They still look pretty good. They are not worn because I keep them clean. The rubbing effect of dirt is what wears out the fibers on carpet. This is my third carpet cleaner during the life of the carpet. This one is by far the best. The double beaters made the colors came up nice and bright and the pile is left soft and fluffy. It is a little hard to push for a woman well over 70, but if you take your time and move it very slowly, it not only cleans better but does not require so much exertion. I also found that there is a big difference in the Bissell deep formula solution that is superior to other brands available. I am looking forward to use it as a portable model to clean my RV and car.

Ordered this to replace a very old Bissell I had for years. This one is much heavier. It seems to do a good job, but doesn't suck up as much dirty water as the old one. I went over & over the 'wet' area, but when the cleaning fluid was gone, the dirty receptacle only had about 2' of dirty water in it! Had to use a fan to quicken up the drying process. The rug did come up clean though. I like it, but wish my old one still worked.

We had thought about getting a carpet cleaner for about 3 years. Looked at 3 different brands and many different models. Had decided to buy another brand because it was on sale in a local ad. When we went to purchase it, all they had was the floor model and we were NOT impressed! So on we go looking again. Asked a friend at church if they knew anything about carpet cleaners and they told us that they just bought a new Bissell. They had another brand for years but was not working well for the last 4 years or so. They told us about this model and how thrilled they have been with it. Looked it up on line and saw that is was EXACTLY what we had wanted. This cleaner works perfectly and does more then we could have hoped for. We have an older home with lots of stairs and the lift off feature works perfectly for that. We also have very active kids and grandchildren in the house and lots of spills. Ones that have been there for years were cleaned up with very little effort. I would recommend this cleaner to anyone. It may be a bit more then others, but it is well worth it!

We bought a Bissell on a spur-of-the-moment decision. We had talked about having the carpets cleaned professionally but decided we would do it ourselves. Today, we completed the dining room after having cleaned the living room, a small bedroom & all our upholstery. The hardest part of the whole job was MOVING THE FURNITURE and cleaning the upholstery!! The Bissell is truly a wonderful machine; our carpets were so dirty we were even surprised! Thank you Bissell for having a well-priced, quality machine for us do-it-yourselfer's. I'm a 69 year-old, 123 lbs and even I could operate this machine! If anyone is trying to decide whether to buy-DO IT!

My old carpet cleaner broke so my children bought the Bissell Lift-Off Pet Deep Cleaner. Truly amazing!! I could not believe how much "gunk" came off the carpets. They dried so quickly and were so soft to walk on. I love my new carpet cleaner.

But when I got through cleaning it with the new Bissell, It looked like new! I was amazed. In fact it look so good I came home and cleaned the carpet and rugs at my house. Wow!

I could not be more happy with this product. Cleaning of an old mated-down carpet left the carpet looking fresh and new. Used the product twice now. Once on a low pile and once on a medium pile carpet. Both times carpet was thoroughly cleaned. Suction was very good. Agitation was excellent. Construction appears very good, time will tell. Motion of cleaner must be slow for good cleaning. Quick multiple passes is not as good a one slow pass. Strongly recommend this product.

I had to purchase something fast, after adopting a new dog and the new dog apparently having some separation anxiety and would escape his pens, and when we came home we would find wonderful spots he left us. MY OLD SHAMPOOER (NAMED AFTER A US PRESIDENT) STOPPED SUCKING UP THE LIQUID AND I COULDN'T TAKE IT APART TO CLEAN OUT THE NOZZLE. MY WIFE PURCHASED THIS UNIT WITHOUT MY INPUT. SHE USED THE UNIT ON MY DAUGHTERS NEWLY PURCHUSED PRE-OWNED HOME WHICH HAD CATS IN IT PREVIOUSLY. MY WIFE RAVED ABOUT HOW WELL THE OFF WHITE COLORED CARPETS CLEANED UP. SHE DIDN'T DO A GOOD JOB OF CLEANING OUT THE SHAMPOOER AND I USED IT ON OUR HOMES' CARPETS TODAY AND RAN INTO PROBLEMS.
THE BAD-
1. ) EVERYTIME I STOPPED THE UNIT IT LEFT A BLACK SPOT OR MANY BLACK SPOTS ON THE CARPET.
2.) THE UNIT LEFT A TRAIL OF CAT HAIR BEHIND IN CLUMPS. 3.) I FOUND THE CORD TO BE SHORTER THAN MY PREVIOUS SHAMPOOER, HAVING TO RE PLUG IT IN A COUPLE OF TIMES. 4.) I WAS SURPRISED HOW LITTLE DIRTY WATER WAS PICKED UP, MY OLD UNIT PICKED UP APPROX 80-90% OF THE WATER UNTIL RECENTLY WHEN THE NOZZLE GOT PLUGGED UP.
I DID THE MAINTENANCE TIPS RECOMMENDED IN THE USERS MANUAL AND FOUND LITTLE BLOCKAGE IN ALL THE POINTS MENTIONED, EXCEPT THERE WAS SOME BUILD UP OF HAIR IN THE NOZZLE AREA. 5.) THE PRICE OF THE LARGE/RETAIL SHAMPOO BOTTLE IS RATHER STEEP BUT CONSIDERING YOU GET 48 OZ AND I ONLY USE SAY 4 OZ ON MY SMALL LIVING RM/KITCHEN/DINING ROOM AREA THAT ONLY WORKS OUT TO A COUPLE OF DOLLARS A TIME.
THE GOOD-
1.) THE DESIGN OF THE SUCTION NOZZLE IS NICE THAT YOU CAN FULLY DISASSEMBLE AND CLEAN IT (VS THE PREVIOUS ONE WHICH WASN'T ABLE TO BE DISASSEMBLED). 2.) EVEN THOUGH THE DIRTY WATER TANK HAD LITTLE WATER IN IT THE RUG WAS CONSIDERED "REALLY CLEAN" BY MY WIFE. 3.) THE (SHORT NAP) RUG DRIED IN AMAZING FAST TIME, SO FAST I DIDN'T THINK THERE WAS SOLUTION COMING OUT.
BOTTOM LINE- IF THE WIFE IS HAPPY I AM SEMI HAPPY. HOPEFULLY WITH THE POST USE MAINTAINANCE CLEANING ON THE UNIT IT WILL WORK BETTER NEXT TIME.
SUGGESTION- AFTER DOING THE CLEANING CYCLE, GO OVER THE CARPET A SECOND TIME WITH ONLY HOT WATER IN THE CLEAN WATER TANK TO DO A "RINSE" CYCLE.

I used my new Bissell "Lift off - Deep Cleaning System - PET for the first time yesterday and it surpassed my expectation. I was amazed at the excellent job it did. If I have an complaints, it is a bit heavy but I managed. I am a 72 year old senior and physically fit so it was not too much for me. I would recommend it to anyone, particularly families with pets. It got up dog hair where I had vacuumed with a vacuum cleaner that is designed to pick up pet hair and does a good job, but obviously does not get it all.

I purchased this after much research. I had used another model cleaner about 6 months ago and it began to leak so this is the replacement. I was astounded at the change in my carpet color. I actually read and followed the instructions and it made a LOT of difference in the machine's performance. Many old stains did come out.
I like the separate tanks and the larger size of the dirty tank. The ability to just remove the tanks helps with the weight factor. Then the beauty of being able to take just the tanks to an area is the icing on the cake. The large unit is not too hard to maneuver. Since I've had neck surgery and have back problems, that is saying a lot.

I was using my new Bissell, that I just purched the day before, when I took a break to go downtown for the Christmas celebration. While I was downtown I recieved a phone call that my house was on fire. When I was able to get into the home to assest the damage most everything was gone, and I had no Renters Insurance. I had bought a 50 inch. TV that melted and the Bissell was sitting next to the TV and no damage, did not melt, and works! I am now rebuilding, starting over, lost everything. I have my Bissell and I love it. I can't believe it but true storie.

We bought this to replace our 7 year old Hoover, it was the best thing ever! Using this with the bissell cleaner, made our carpets look like new again. It even removed the old stains and dirt that we couldn't see. You wont be disappointed. The lift off to make it portable is great. Easy to remove, use and put back with no problems. The steps look fantastic again. Love this machine!

We have removed carpet from every room in our home except our sunroom because we felt we never got them clean no matter what we did. We decided to try to keep the carpet in the sunroom IF we could find a machine that would take out the stains from our Lhasa Apso's before they were housebroken. So I did some research and found the Bissel had some great reviews. I purchased the shampooer designed especially for pets, brought it home and used it the next day. We were amazed how well it worked! Literally removed the stains that were a year old that I have tried & tried to get out!! It renewed the carpet in that room and it looks great again!! I have no regrets on my purchase and we will definitely keep the carpet in the sunroom now.

Just got the machine two days ago and used it this morning. I love it. I have a sunken Living Room with a step the whole width of the room. Never could get the step clean. The lift off spot cleaner worked so great and the step is now really clean. I'm very happy with my investment of this machine.

This is by far the best carpet cleaner. It does have a small clean water tank, but it keeps the water warm and it does a wonderful job. I especially like that the carpets dry quick. The Bissell pet stain & odor really takes out the stains and with the scotchgard, really made for easy wipe-up for a spill, after the carpet was clean. I also love the fact that this machine is very easy to take apart to clean, having pets there is a lot of hair.
