I had a 15 year old Bissell Pro Heat Plus that still works fine and I gave it to my brother when I purchased this Lift Off Deluxe. The new Lift Off cleans great but it could use some improvements. There is no indication of when the water/cleaning solution is out. It's a little hard to see when it's that low while it's in use so an indication would be nice. My old one had an indicator. Also, I cannot see the water being suckud up when in upright mode. You cannot see the front of the machine while you are using it. That is a disign issue with the Lift Off because it's really two different units. But it would just be nice if you could see that. This last item is more of a suggestion than a complaint. I would rather see you sell this with the turbo brush instead of the pet stain eraser. The turbo brush works much better. I kept this tool from my last machine and noticed that you can still purchase it seperatly. Other than those issues it cleans great.

this machine is great i had a hoover for years but never cleaned as good as this machine.the carpets look really clean and brushed up hoover never did that for my carpets before and this got stains up i never could with a hoover i tell everyone about this carpet cleaner machine as itis great thank you bissell!.nancy

I received the product yesterday and I cleaned all my carpets today. This is an amazing product!!! It cleaned extremely well. I could not believe all the hair it brought to top of carpet even after I had vacuumed. The hand tools have powerful suction along with the cleaner. Many people have said their carpets were wet longer than they wanted. Well all you have to do is keep going over them until you get most of water out. My carpets were dry in an hour. The cleaning ability was great! the portability for furniture is a definite plus! Love it!!! If you have pets, i recommend this product. I have 2 cats and a pug and now I can clean up after them the easy way :)

I have a multi-dog household and have owned several carpet cleaners over the years. I have purchased Hoover, Rug Doctor, and Bissell. Bissell products are the best compared to all, but this new "Lift-Off" gives very professional results. Easy to use, empty and refill. Solution is distributed in perfect quantity and does not over-wet carpet, but gets solution deep enough for desired results. I am giving this product 5 stars, but wish the cord was longer. Great machine!

{ purchased this product to help keep stains under control with my new puppy. I am very pleased at the way it attacks the oder and stains. However I am very unhappy with your product service and service department. I really liked the pet and odor stain remover that you add to the water. With a puppy I ran out of this chemical pretty fast. I ordered some more of this product and on my order it said it should arrive by 1-18-2013. As I checked the status of my order it stated that it has not been shipped but still in the processing. I call a representative of Bissell and was told she would relay mt concern to cooperate. That did me absolutely no good. Today is January 27 and my order status is still processing. Please let me know if you are not going to be able to fulfill this order and I will cancel. This pet cleaning feature is the main reason I ordered the cleaner.

I have been waiting for Dyson to make a wet vacuum cleaner for years and they never have, so I want on a search for one by some other company. I got this a a gift for my birthday and it has been the best cleaner I've ever had. I had a Hover before this and hated it from day one. Needless to say it is now at the curb. This machine does not leak, the removable part is the best for stairs and the up right brushes are so good that my old carpet was plush like new after use. It took a dirt stain out in one pass that my Hover was having trouble with. Also the 2X deep cleaning solution works great and has a pleasant aroma.
I'm not the review writing kind of guy so just the fact that I wrote this review is testament enough.

When you use this machine you can't see the water coming up from the carpet because the portable part is in the way. This was very frustrating to me as I like to know when the area is clean so I can move on. Also because of the design I felt that I could not apply enough pressure down when cleaning up the spill and that the was a lot of water left in the rug because of this.

Much improved design and engineering. Easily assembled in minutes. Instructions easy to understand. Really like the separate hard containers for clean and dirty water. We have an elderly dog prone to accidents and this will be a godsend.

With two dogs my carpets started to look pretty dirty but once I used my new Deluxe Pet Deep Cleaner they were just like new again! This machine is so very easy to use. It's not heavy and the clean up takes no time at all. I used the Pet Stain & Odor Pretreat first and that did a wonderful job too. The fact that I now have the removable spot cleaner is fantastic for those quick touch ups! I would highly recommend this machine to everyone!

This cleaner is okay but it has no suction!!!! I should at least be picking up HALF of the water that it is putting out!!! I had a Hoover that picked up MOST of the water that it put out and only took about 1/2 an hour to dry! If I hadn't gotten rid of the box, I would have taken it back!!! VERY disappointed!!!!

This cleaner works well enough. It cleaned some stains but also left a few. Also, the removeable spot cleaner wasn't what I expected. It isn't the kind that you set on the spot to clean, you remove it and use the upholstery tools.
It was easy to put together and the shipping was faster than expected.

I absolutely LOVE this machine. I have 3 Labradors and 3 cats and a house with all white berber carpet. This machine has saved my carpet. Some of the dirt was so ground in I didn't think I would ever get rid of the it. But.....it now looks and smells sooooooooooooo clean. I recommend this machine for everyone!

Set up was easy. The handle took a while. Seems I'm not good with screws. The clean water/soap tank was cracked and so was the replacement tank. But I just used a good glue.
The grandkids have a puppy that is not house broken yet. Makes the carpets look and smell nice. The delux pet deep cleaner is a must have for pet owners.

I am looking at the dirty water tank & I still can't believe how black the water is. I just used a competitor's top of the line model LAST NIGHT (albeit it was dying#. I had that machine almost 2 years and was very satisfied with the results. This Bissell puts it to shame.
First, I thoroughly vacuumed with another compertior's top of the line vacuum. I was DUMBFOUNDED at the volume of dog hair spewed out from my 2 recscue long hair daschunds. I believe that the dual power brushes & heated water are the keys to SUPER CLEANING!. In addition to getting twice the amount of dirt and hair out, the carpets appear better groomed #again the brush differences).
The only negative issue I have with this product is the small sized clean water tank. I did have to stop & refill it much more frequently than with my other machine. However, considering the far superior results, I can easily forgive this issue.
One Caveat - be sure to have a clean towel to rest the brushes on while changing tanks - as with all these machines, there is residual dirty water on the brushes that could stain.
I have been won over to the Bissell Brand. I can't wait for my turbo brush & additional detergents & pre-treaters to arrive so I can tackle the stairs and a candle wax stain I've been living with for a month.

I am very happy with my purchase! I don't usually buy anything online, but I couldn't find this model in stores. The process was easy and I was suprised when it showed up the very next day. It was also easy to assemble and operate. My two favorite features is the lift off and the extra long electrical cord. The only thing is, now I have to buy a new vaccum cleaner after seeing everything it got out of the carpet. I had just vaccumed before using it. After I finished shampooing I had to take it apart to get out all the fur and crud my vaccum left behind. I was shocked and grossed out. Honestly, I hate making these purchases because it's not on something fun, but hey, the features in this model makes my life easier and it was money well spent.

I thought my house was clean until I bought the Lift-Off Deluxe Pet Deep Cleaner. I have tile everywhere except the bedrooms. I can not believe the difference in my bedroom carpet. I had other carpet cleaners in the past, but this one far outweighs the others hands down. The power brushes pull and lift the stains away, like magic. The weight of the machine is perfect. One word - AWESOME. From box to use took only minutes, then I was off and running. Once I figured out where to put the screws for the handle (at my age I don't read directions well and obviously I can't even follow simple pictures-and that was with glasses. It's got to be my age!) Dont get me wrong, the directions were extremely simple and I was trying to make it more complicated. This was my last try in finding a carpet cleaner that worked before renting a commercial unit. I am now a Bissell fan. Now I am prepared all the time, so I dare those dogs.....

This machine is AMAZING. I bought a house with horribly stained carpets and used my older, cheaper Bissell Upright Deep Cleaner on them, and it left quite a few stains, but that one wasn't heated, and it didn't have moving parts (i.e. the brushes didn't spin). My wife and I purchased this model from Kohls to give Bissell a second chance and boy were we happy! It takes pet stains out with EASE, and removed 99% of the old stains from the carpets! I can even use it in my car with the awesome spot bot attachement!!! Fantastic design, this is definitely worth every penny we paid for it, and more. Combined use with a Dyson Vacuum, and our carpets went from old to practically brand new looking! Way to go Bissell!

The instruction was easy to follow and in no time it was ready to be used. I love the machine how it made my carpet clean and took the stains away. I have a new puppy and there are times he has accidents in the house. That was the main reason of my purchase. After I read the other reviews I was sold and glad I bought it. Great product.... People where telling me not to buy my own carpet cleaner, since they do not clean as well as the ones you would rent. Well I am here to tell you that I was impressed by this machine!! It cleaned better then the one I rented, 2 years ago!! Am glad I bought this one, it maybe a bit more for this one but it is worth it!! If you are looking for a carpet cleaner that works very well besides the fact it's a 2 in 1, This is the machine to buy!
+ this cleaner looks like a professinal cleaning machine.
Am not a person to write reviews but I wanted to give back, since I do alot of research before purchaseing a item and thank God for the people who take out of there time, to write a review. This one cleaned the floors Great for me! I'll write again, only if there is a problem after a few other times of useing it..

I recently purchased the lift off after using a ProHeat for 9 years. The set up and use are easy and the amount of dirt extraction is incredible, however, when used in the upright mode, the dirty water tank leaks! No, it's not because the tank is full. It will leak even if there is hardly anything in the tank. I've tried re-seating the containers and checking the lift off connection to the upright unit, but it still leaks. Any suggestions before I take it back?

I rented a steam cleaner and my carpets didn't look any better nor did it remove the cat urine. I used to own a Bissell steam carpet cleaner so when I was so upset with the rental's results, I immediately ordered myself a new Bissell steam cleaner and the cleaning products.
The new one is even better than the one I used to have and a whole lot better than the "professional" machine I rented. I used the Pet Stain and Odor Pre-Treat and my carpets are clean and like new. Bissell is the best!

This machine does everything that it's supposed to as described. With the pet eraser it's awesome, found it cleans even better if after you do with solution and then rinse with clear hot water after you will never see the spot or any smell. Well worth the price

I am in love with this machine! It works great on those tough, hard to clean up spots! Prior to buying this product, my husband and I were convinced that we needed to purchase new capeting. After using this cleaner, we are able to utilize our carpeting for a few more years. We are completely amazed how clean it made our white carpeting look white again. Furthermore, it is so user friendly and easy to handle!
If I needed to find a complaint, I would suggest the water tank be a little bigger. It requires a quite a few fills to finish a room. However, it is very nice and light if you are using it on the steps!

I like the concept of this machine, how the main vac detaches making it more user friendly of stairs and in vehicles, my main problem is that the tanks are to small, small is an under statement , they are tiny. A couple of passes and the cleaning tank is empty and the waist tank is full, and that's a pain in the but when you have a whole room to do. I have a big house and my bonus room is only 207sq/ft and it took 4 fill ups and empties for this small room; and that only for the traffic areas, I would hate to see how much if I did it from wall to wall. I Almost think that buying this thing was a big mistake.

I have had this carpet cleaner for awhile. I am a college student and saved up money for one because of my animals. It gets the pet stains up and I love how it gets the hair clumps and stuff out of my carpet too. I noticed that it didn't soak ALL the water up and I realized it was because I was going to fast. After I slowed down, it got most of the water up. There are some horrible stains on my carpet from my dogs, but after using this a couple of different times on them, it got them up. I would, however, made it to where you can use a rinse cycle. That is the only thing I would have liked for it to have. But I really do appreciate this product and would recommend it.
