I would like to give this vacuum more stars, because I like it overall. It has good suction and I like all the attachments. But, I've had two belts break in less than a year. I ordered a package of two through the Bissell website, so I am using Bissell parts. I have a small house, so it's not like I'm vacuuming all the time. I replaced my old Sharp vacuum when it just finally gave out. I had it for over 10 years, and I think I replaced the belt once.
Very disappointing.

I have owned a canister vacuum for 33 yrs of marriage. My daughter bought the Bissell Cleanview when she was moving out. I had just vacuumed my diningroom when she got home. We tried the Bissell right where I had already done with my canister. Within a week, I had a CleanView Helix Upright Vacuum. The canister comes out just to do bare floors.
I don't even mind cleaning it out when I'm done, I know the job is done right.

I bought the vacuum from the Bisell website and the price and the shipping time was wonderful. It has amazing suction and is very easy to empty. The filter does need frequent cleaning and is the only downfall that I have found besides needing an extra cleaning wand.

I got this vacuum today at target and it outcleans another popular cyclonic vacuum I had. So I took the other one back. This Bissell pulled up so much dirt in one room that I thought my other cyclonic was picking up. Plus cleaning the upper cyclonic cone is way easier you can just rinse it out unlike another brand where it has to be tapped out on a hard surface outside I also own a Bissell Carpet Cleaner and a Little Green and 2 stick vacs from Bissell so... Bissell forever.

I just love my new vacuum, it really cleans deep down into the carpet!! I was truly Amazed how much it sucked up from my carpet, the canister was nearly full, it really does a GREAT JOB!!!

My only problem with this Bissell cleaner is that the section that you take out when you empty it doesn't fit tight. Consequently, I have a lot of dust on it's outside. Besides emptying the container, I also have to wipe the outside down. (I do empty the container at least 3 times when I vacuum one room -- sometimes more. It itn's that the container is real full, but if I don't, the dust goes up into the part above it and I have a hard time getting it out. So, as soon as I see that, I empty. Do love the suction and how much better my carpet looks now.

I love my CleanView Helix Vacuum. It is so easy to use and cleaning out the cup is a snap. I couldn't believe it when I first started using it. I didn't expect it to pick up the amount of dirt and dust from my house. I have had a Kirby for many years, but has gotten too cumbersome to haul around the house. I thought that I would try an inexpensive vacuum to help me clean inbetween the times that I didn't want to deal with the "Goliath " in the closet. I chose Bissel® because of the well known brand name. In fact I have a Bissel® Universal carpet sweeper from the turn of the century that still is in working condition. I figured that if a company has been focusing on improving their products and in business for so many years they must be doing something right. Bissel® is a sure bet when it comes to keeping my house clean! I definitely am very happy! Thank you Bissel® for making it affordable.

It is light enough to use but heavy enough to do the deep cleaning. I especially like being able to see just
how much dirt I have been able to extract from my carpet and upholstered furniture.

This vacuum cleans really well. The only thing I miss is the built in handle to lift the machine to carry it around. It was on the similiar Bissel I had and gave to my daughter when I purchased this one. Can't beat the price. I shopped around, found it offered at a store that I had a discount coupon for, saving even more. Great cleaner for cheap is what I say. Who needs to pay hundreds on a vacuum when you can have this one?

Other vaccums we had before did not have good suction. TNickhe suction in this Cleanview Helix is excellent. The Turbo Brush size would be better if it was 6 inches wide. The Dirt Container is very easy to empty and the dirt stays together. We did not receive the Extension wand so we could have a longer reach to the floor.

In a household with all hardwood floors and 3 dogs, one a St Bernard, I needed a vacuum that would work on the hard floors and have attachments for the furniture. The filter does clog pretty easy, but I blame that on the amount of dust in our home-main road, 3 dogs, all construction household, wood stove-I vacuum 2-3 times a week, really should be daily and I love this vacuum.

i've had vacuums before, but none were this easy to clean out. Yet it still picks up EVERYTHING! had a cat and dog over when i had company for a week, it's as if there was no trace of them after i used this vacuum to clean it up! So impressed with this!

the vacuum cleaner should be an upgrade of the previous model; however, it is not as good. The upper chamber cannot be removed for cleaning and the lower filter and hepa filter are not washable. One problem I noticed is when using the hose attachment it will blow dirt out the hole where the hose inserts during regular vacuuming. It should also be supplied with another length of solid pipe.

This is best the vacuum I think I ever used. We have central vacuum in our house which I thought was doing a great job, till I got this for just quick pick ups in one or two room instead of the whole house, can't believe everytime I run it, what comes out of this rug, It makes me feel like my house is so clean now.

This is a good vacuum at a reasonable price. I was surprised to see how much dust and loose fiber came out of the carpet with this vacuum after vacuuming for a couple of years with other vacuums, although it does a better job on carpet than on bare floors.
My main criticism of this vacuum would be that it's hard to get it under furniture that's several inches off the floor, since the vacuum doesn't have a low profile because of the dirt receptable that's on the front. I suppose that I would need a bagged vacuum, though, to get under such furniture.
The vacuum is heavy and doesn't have an easy lifting handle, which would make it easier to carry upstairs. A better handle would be an improvement to the design.

This machine does a very good job of cleaning and the Bissell Company stays right on top of your needs in keeping this vacuum in good working order. It's an excellent product and hands down better than many pricier vacuums.

This vacuum is great! It picks up SO MUCH junk from the carpets, even after I cleaned them. I feel like my family will be healthier with normal use of this vacuum. I especially like the extension hose & attachments, and the bagless filter! The cord is also longer than my last vacuum had, which helps to get more space without unplugging and replugging. I would definitely recommend this to others!

My previous Bissell "died" after a year and half, and was still under warrantee, so I took it to an authorized service dealer and it is being replaced. Meanwhile, I purchased the CleanView Helix Vacuum and have been using it since November, still waiting for my replacement, which is now at the dealer 180 miles away from my home. At any rate, I am so far very pleased the the Helix because it can be totally taken apart after vacuuming and the filter, the dirt canister and the helix all come out so they can be thoroughly cleaned without too much hassle. It is a smaller vac than my previous, and I appreciate that when I go up and down stairs with it. The attachments are all on board and it is a very good basic home vacuum.

SO, far we really like this vacuum. We went a long time having to barrow a vacuum from a friend, SO, at times we didn't vacuum as often as we should. I was truly amazed at the amount of dirt and dust (and yuk) this vacuum picked up. SO, far it is the best we have ever owed. I say so far, because I do have a tend to (and I don't know how or why) break vacuums.

After our old vacuum finally bit the dust after 14 years, we were in the market for a new cleaner. This one was on sale at K-mart. I had considered the Bissell brand after having owned a carpet shampoo cleaner from Bissell and was very pleased with it. The vacuum cleans better than old one ever did. It cleans thoroughly. I like not having to guess how full the vacuum is and like not having to buy bags for it. I would recommend this vacuum and would buy it again!

I have an expensive canister vac - which does a good job, but I just didn't think it was doing the best job on the carpets. (We have mostly hardword floors) Having used an upright vacuum at our daughters house, I knew I needed to get an upright for our carpets, but could not afford the expensive model she has. In a nutshell, I chose to purchase the bissell, because of the way it comes apart for easy cleaning. It was a perfect choice. All I can say is after the first use . . . . the dirt my new bissell sucked out of our carpets was embarressing. Thank you Bissell.

This vacuum has been one of my best purchases this year! With three little boys and a dog I needed a one with power. This one has been great! The amount of dirt and dog hair I got up from the first use was unbelievable. I had to empty the cup twice! I hadn't imagined that my floors were that bad. The only downfall that I can find is that the cup is smaller and has to be emptied more frequently than my past bagless ones but that is such a small thing compared to the job it does. This is a great product for the money!

I love my new Bissell Helix. It has great suction, is lightweight and does the job. Love the removable dirt cup and washable filters. A little loud but so are all other vacuums on the market. I highly recommend this product.
