I was a little hesitant to purchase it because I read a few negative comments and wondered if they were true or just a case of someone not reading the instructions, but my fears were dispelled once I used it a few times. I was mostly concerned about the hose detaching from the unit while using it, but found that to be untrue. The hose locks on to the unit and if attached properly does not come out. I did find the hose to be a little short however and you must pull the vacuum cleaner along with you as you move to a new spot, but that is a minor inconvenience considering the way it picks up dirt and hair. I found it easy to clean and love the fact that I don't have to buy replacement bags anymore. Overall, this has been an excellent purchase. February 15, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by Hate Cleaning this Vacuum This is my first bagless vacuum; I thought it would be nice not to have bags to deal with. It is easy to dump the dirt container but cleaning the cup filter is awful. FIne particles of dust go everywhere when you take off the sponge filter cover and try and rinse them out. And having to clean this filter so often, just really is a pain. Not sure if other bagless models are less needy, but this one really just requires too much maintenance to keep it going. I feel like I need a vacuum to clean my vacuum. January 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by great product this is my first bagless vacuum and i love it. it is very easy to keep the filter parts clean. it only takes a minute to keep it in perfect working condition. the first time i used it i could not believe how much pet hair and dirt it picked up. it had only been 3 days since i vacuumed with my old one. it's very powerful with an extra long cord. the only complaint is the hose will drop out of its holder at the handle when i run the vacuum into walls, ect. but, the easy way to resolve that is to not bang it into things. love this vacuum. Rated 5 out of 5 by I am in HEAVEN and LOVING it!!! My old vacuum cleaner died, so my hubby and I (based on several factors) picked out this one to replace it. What a great Christmas gift to me!! This vacuum cleaner showed us how bad the other one was by vacuuming (after we Bissell sweept) the carpet and dug down and picked up stuff we didn't know we possessed!! The attachments work great; we had to search for the edger and discovered it conveniently tucked inside the wand (great protector spot). Sucks up dog hair, everything (including the darkened spots in our carpet); it is easy-to-use (I have a bum knee so straining is out and this machine makes all of it effortless). We love it. Now, we argue over who gets to vacuum (we both have asthma) as we no longer have breathing issues when vacuuming. December 30, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by garbage I had a Cleanview years ago, and loved it. After it started wearing out, I purchased a new one. This new one was a Cleanview Helix. What a difference. The old one sucked up all of the dog hair, dirt, anything that needed to be cleaned up. This new one still looks brand new, but I can't tell you if it sucks well or not. The darn wheels kept falling off! I ordered new wheels, and had the same problem. I ended up taking all usable parts off of it, and tossed the thing. I now am using the Momentum, but will have to wait and see how it turns out. So far, it seems to work well. At least the wheels are staying on! I've been purchasing Bissell products for quit awhile now, and this is the only one that I would not consider buying again. December 10, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great!, Bad reviews are people that cant understand.... It works exactly as advertised, which is great, and it picks up a LOT of dirt and dust. Many of the reviews im reading sound as if they didnt even buy the same vacuum I just used for the last half hour. I believe some dont realize just how dirty their house is, and are either clogging the hose, or totally covering the filter with lots of dust or animal hair. It works fine with just shaking out or washing the outer filter. If it didnt collect so much dirt, the filter wouldnt get be covered and it would instead be STILL in your carpet. I think many are used to a weaker vacuum that simply doesnt pick up much and are shocked to see and smell what is being picked up from their very own carpets. The filters have NO smell of their own, its the dust from your house. November 27, 2012

But once it got full and I emptied it it hardly works and it spits out the dirt. We have cleaned it and cleaned it and now I don't know what to do I am ready to trash this and start over. Rated 3 out of 5 by Good Suction but Hose Collapsed - What to Do? This vacuum appeared to be a good value and performed well for the first few months of usage. Then the hose collapsed just past the connection that goes into the top of the attachment. Although enough air still passes through hose when we are vacuuming, when we try to use the attachments to clean edges the hose totally collapses and hardly any air gets through the hose. I was sure I'd find other problems of this nature on line and expected to see some kind of a "recall" or course of action on this site. Please advise! September 29, 2012

So I made the huge mistake of throwing away the box and misplaced the receipt. Within 2 months, YES, 2 months, the vaccuum lost it's suction. I don't know what happened! I've done EVERYTHING to try and fix it but it's just worthless. I've paid $160 and it's a piece of junk. I live in a small apartment. I don't have any pets, so I don't need to vaccuum as much. I wish I knew how to fix it or to get it replaced. But I don't want to spend a penny. I've paid a lot of money for this to brake within 2 months of little use. I am very frustrated and disappointed. I'm stuck with a piece of junk and have no way of getting better. September 26, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Goodbye pet hair!!!! I just purchased the Cleanview helix and was totally amazed at how much dirt/pet hair it could pick up. Not too heavy to operate, and cleaning out the filters is a small price to pay for this much suction. A few operating quirks to work through. On the negative side, I have to agree that the attachments are worthless - very little suction from the hose, and even less when you use the "turbo brush". There is NOTHING TURBO ABOUT IT. I didn't find the crevice device until it fell out of the extension rod. Overall, for under $100 it is worth it. September 9, 2012

Suction is very good and I love the upholstery tool. This is my first bagless vacuum and I'm very pleased with it. My son lost the crevice tool and re-ordering another one, as well as replacing the hose my dog chewed through was very easy on Bissell.com. My only regret is that the machine tips very easily. Rated 2 out of 5 by Pretty disappointing My father bought this for me after my last vacuum broke. He got it because he had one just like it at his place and it worked so well for him. Unfortunately, I'm not in love with this vacuum. Issue one: Having so much stuff to take apart to fully clean out the canister and filters is really a hassle, especially since it seems to need it so often. But if this were the only issue it wouldn't bother me that much. Issue two: The vacuum seems to blow air out around it. I didn't really notice it until I put floor powder down and was vacuuming it up and ended up with a ton of the powder blown into the bathroom from under the door. Issue three: For some reason the handle likes to come off. And I can see no way that this would be a useful feature, it coming off doesn't seem to serve a purpose. You'd think it would at least clip in or something so it wouldn't be constantly slipping backwards, but it doesn't. This makes it incredibly difficult if you're using the hose to clean stairs, you spend half of your time pushing the handle forward again so the whole thing doesn't fall apart. Issue four: As far as I can tell, the suction hose is useless. Mine has never really worked. It's the first thing I tried out when it was brand new and it was just as terrible then as it is now. It picks up next to nothing, there's hardly any suction and I can't even get it to suck up small fur balls along the edges of the walls. The second part of my issue with the hose is that where to detach it from seems to have more power than the suction on the hose does. When I went to use it today it started spontaneously shooting dust and fur out of where the hose detaches while not picking anything up off the floor.(And, no, the vacuum is not clogged in any way. I completely cleaned it out, checked for clogs and found none and there was still air shooting from that hose.) What's worse is when you use the attachments for the end of the hose the suction is even weaker. All in all, this was definitely not worth what was paid for it. August 20, 2012

The hose attachment is so frustrating. i really, really hate it. when the vacuum is turned off the reach is great! However when turned on, if you extend it very much it tips the vacuum over. no matter which way it's turned. i have to stand with my leg or hand bracing it any time i want to use the wand/hose. the filter lock on the bottom jiggles loose due to the vibration and sometimes dust escapes the top of the canister. We have dogs and getting the pet hair is very important to me. This has been very effective thus far. Yeah, you have to empty and clean filters, but so far it is worth it for the results I am getting, plus I do not need to purchase the bags. They were getting quite expensive. I am wanting to see how long the filters last without having to replace them. But, so far, so good!! July 14, 2012

The round filter that is foam that goes around another filter,(i think its called an inner and outer filter ).Well the outer foam filter stink so bad im having to purchase another one.Washing and letting it dry for days, it still stink soooo bad.This filter is also super hard to find in stores. I just went to 5 stores and could not find this inner /outer filter.Im not a happy camper right about now. Cant use my vaccum because i threw the foam filter away. It smelled do bad.Now im online to order the product. UPSET !!!!!!! June 8, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not what I expected I actually bought this vaccum after reading so many raving reviews. The vaccum is not bad at all, the only issue that I have but it is a very big deal for me is the filtering and cleaning. There like 3 or 4 components where dust sticks to it and it causes the suction to deteriorate. The top has this cylinder like things with slits but dust and dirt attaches itself easily and when it gets to stuffed up the suction becomes weak, then the filters have the same problem on the bottom. Overall it becomes very messy to clean when you take it apart so all the HEPA filtration negates when you try and empty the canister and most likely you will have to clean the filters because after a good cleaning all of them pretty much get suffocated. I gave it a 3 star because it vaccums well when you have it clean but after a few vaccums you have to do a thorough cleansing of the filter components and this is where it becomes very messy. Suction is poor after 1-2 rooms, need to empty after each room(not because it is so efficient), have to completely clean bagless unit and filters with water after 2 uses or there is no suction and then stinks terribly even after it dries for 2 days before reassembly (I definitely do not have time for this much maintenance), the wand for attachments has VERY weak suction even when unit is clean. Poor customer service from Bissell when unhappy with the product. Save your money!! May 30, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Best Suction Ever! Had an old Eureka 7 AMP Vacuum and It wasn't picking up anything anymore...so I went to the store and for the money the CleanView Helix was my pick. It has so much suction power that I couldn't believe what my old vacuum left behind! Cleaning it and emptying the cup and filters can be a little time consuming but it is much cleaner than those old bags to be emptied. Overall, I give the CleanView an A-. May 14, 2012

After adding items to your shopping cart, you will able to choose from two shipping options: standard (5-7 business days) and expedited (3-5 business days). What carrier will be used to ship my order?

Return Instructions:
