The advantages of 3 Stage Filtration
The Big Green Complete® deep cleaner and canister vacuum has 3 stage filtration. This means the dirt, debris and air the vacuum suctions up goes through a sophisticated filtration process before releasing any air back into your home. The water filtration stage captures and sinks large particles, including dirt, hair and crumbs. Smaller particles are captured by the secondary filter, insuring that the vacuum captures all the dirt and dust you vacuum up. Finally, the HEPA Media Filter* cleans and filters the air passing through it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this machine! I purchased my Big Green Complete about 6-8 months ago, and I absolutely LOVE it. I never realized that my floors weren't truly grit free until I started using this vacuum. It cleans like no other vacuum I've ever used before. My floors are all tile and stained concrete, with large area rugs. I used to sweep and mop with a broom and mop until I developed back problems. Now it's too painful to use those tools, or to push a heavy vacuum around. The wand on my BGC is very light and easy to push, and the canister glides behind me without a problem. I'm able to clean from ceiling to floor with ease. We have a new construction home and the dust has always been a battle, but not anymore. Since I started using my BGC I'm constantly getting compliments on how clean my home is, and I always say it all due to my new vacuum. September 28, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by This is a great machine. It is the second one that I have owned. Purchased a Grandfather of this one about 22 years ago. It worked great but this is even better. I have managed to use ALL features of this machine and it does a great job. I like the way it can be "taken down" for cleaning. When I am done I always make sure that I rinse all of the parts in the tank and clean the hoses, wands and attachments that I use. I have cleaned three (3) rooms of carpet and they look great. I really like the way that the cleaning solution system is integrated into the hose and wands. Beats the old machine. September 17, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty decent design I purchased this unit for wet cleaning only, so I can only evaluate the machine for that purpose. The Big Green Complete seems to be fairly well designed, with heavy wands and integral solution piping (as opposed to a separate hose). The wand adapter in combination with the carpet deep cleaning tool did not work for me, and I found this frustrating, but not a major drawback. The user manual is sparse, incomplete and erroneous. The manual specifies two measuring caps of detergent, but the instructions on the tank state only one. The sample bottle specifies 2.5oz/gal, which with a 1.3gal solution tank calculates to 3.25oz - exactly one full measuring cup to the lip (Bissell has confirmed that I am correct). Do not use the measuring cup for detergent addition however as one cannot do so without making a mess. I fill the tank about half way with hot water, measure in 3.25oz with a 5oz well graduated measuring glass, rinse the glass into the tank and then fill the remainder of the tank. There is a sliding panel on the power switch pedestal. Slide the panel to the left to wrap the cord for storage, and to the right to easily remove the cord bundle. This is not explained in the user manual. Also, I have yet to find out what the "drain cleaner" part is for (UPDATE from Bissell: "The Drain Cleaner is designed to assist in unclogging a drain or sink. The Drain Cleaner attaches to the end of the wand, then hold it over the drain (make sure to get a good seal), turn the machine on to suction out clog. Please note: Do not use this if a chemical has been used to clean the drain.") The upholstery tool bristle component kept popping out of the tool. I solved this problem by installing two small sheet metal screws (#6-1/4") through the back of the brush. When drilling the 1/16" pilot holes for the screws, be sure to position them between the bristle containing cylinders. When using the machine in the wet cleaning mode, the HEPA filter can be removed and no water is required in the collection tank. Removing the HEPA filter results in greater air flow with a drier result, and a waterless collection tank means less weight to lift, carry, drag around and empty. I would guess that the 1.3gal solution tank coverage is about a 9' x 12' rug of average filth which equates to about 15 of this size rug/bottle of "2X". The process is not effortless and requires patience. The advantage of owning a machine as that you can tackle a room at a time at your leisure without the time constraints of a rental unit. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for multiple mess-maker household I purchased this machine because we have a multiple pet, small child, mess-prone hubby household. I have had the machine about 2 weeks and so far I have wet cleaned the bedroom carpets and our hard tile floors (in South FL, everyone has tile). I have also used the upholstery attachments to deep clean the microfiber upholstered kitchen chairs and sectional, and to spot clean new messes on the carpet. The cat streaked on the couch and nothing would get the smell out until this machine came along. Now we just enjoy the fresh lavender scent from the bissell solution. Even my DH who wasn't too keen on the price tag now admits the machine was worth it. So far I am very happy with the machine and have seen outstanding deep cleaning results on all surfaces. I have not tried the vacuum setting so my review only covers wet cleaning. My only note would be that the machine can get a bit heavy with the water BUT the larger tank means less trips to empty/refill. You can easily do a large room and more with just one tank. Used it for the first time today. It did a great job, easier to fill and empty, and much more quiet than the old one. Tried the vacuum and it worked but limited by the vacuum driven beater brush. Rated 5 out of 5 by Third Bissell Carpet Shampoo Machine for Me I have gone from the first (?) model where the water supply was attached from the faucet to the machine, to the Big Green Machine whose water supply was right in the machine, to this newest model. I had the opportunity to purchase the 7700 and gave my daughter the Big Green Machine; she had it most of the time anyway. I received it right before Christmas and finally got to open the box, check the contents out (lots of accessories), and clean some carpet. I love the canister design (my uprights - vacuum cleaners - always fell over as I tried to clean stairs and upholstery). The machine did a fabulous job of cleaning! I have not tried the vacuum feature, but have read a couple reviews and found people have NOT read the directions - please call Bissell for help. I can shampoo my carpets anytime I want, have a back-up vacuum cleaner, and know this machine will pay for itself quickly and do a great job. February 1, 2012

When will my order arrive?
After adding items to your shopping cart, you will able to choose from two shipping options: standard (5-7 business days) and expedited (3-5 business days). Next to each option is a delivery estimate date window, which will calculate dates including "business days" and determine when your shipment will arrive. 

 

How are estimated delivery dates calculated?

  • Orders placed before 3pm ET on a business day process and ship on the same day. Business days count forward from there.
  • Orders placed after 3pm ET or on weekends/holidays will process and ship the following business day. Business days count forward from there.

 

What are considered business days?
Business days include Monday–Friday and exclude holidays. Holidays in 2013 include: March 29, May 27, July 4, September 2, November 28, November, 29, December 24, and December 25.

 

When will I receive my tracking number?
Tracking numbers are sent to you in an email about 24-48 hours after your order ships. This delay allows the shipment to be processed by the shipment carrier’s website. However, don’t fret! Your order will still arrive within the original estimated window.

The email will arrive with the subject, “Your BISSELL shipping confirmation”. You can also visit the View Your Order page anytime to find the latest status of your order, including its tracking number once it has shipped.

 

What carrier will be used to ship my order?
BISSELL uses multiple carriers to ship products. The carrier who ships your order is selected by our shipping department and depends on many factors including items purchased, delivery address, warehouse inventory levels, and more.

 

Will my entire order arrive in one shipment?
Multi-item orders may require shipments from multiple warehouse locations, so you may receive some items separately. Details for each shipment will be provided by email and will be available on the View Your Order page.

 

What about orders outside of the continental US?
Standard shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, American Samoa and Virgin Islands will arrive within 15 business days.

 

What about P.O. Boxes or Military Addresses?
If you have a P.O. Box, an APO or a military address, you will need to place your order over the phone by calling BISSELL Customer Care at 1-800-237-7691 during these hours:
Monday- Friday: 8am to 10pm ET
Saturdays: 9am to 8pm ET
Sundays: 10am to 7pm ET

Return Policy

BISSELL.com’s return policy is simple and convenient:

  • If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, return it for a replacement or full refund within 30 days of the delivery date.*
  • You can arrange for at-home pick-up of your return
  • Pay just $4.95 in return shipping

Return Instructions:

  1. Pack all items (including all accessories and manuals) securely and include the packaging list that was sent with the order.
  2. Attach the return address label on the outside of the package being returned. A $4.95 return shipping fee will be deducted from your bill.
  3. Take the package to an authorized ship center, or if you would like to schedule a pick-up call the FedEx Return Program at (888) 777-6040.

Refund Information:

Once we receive the merchandise, it will be inspected to make sure it meets quality standards. BISSELL Inc. reserves the right to deny refund for returned merchandise which appears to be excessively used or abused.

The refund will be issued in either check or credit format based on the original purchase once the return has been processed at our facility. Note that the original shipping and handling costs will not be refunded.
