Can I use the Spot Bot on my shag carpet?

Answer: Be sure to look for a manufacturer’s cleanability code tag. Use on fabrics coded “WS” or “W”. If coded “X” or “S”, do not use.  If your rug is labeled “WS” or “W”, you can deep clean your shag rug. In fact, the shag rug will not wrap up or clog the nozzle of your portable deep cleaner. Although, some spots may absorb more water than others and will become more wet than even pile carpet. Use a fan across the rug after deep cleaning to help dry for a couple of hours.
