An ink cartridge from our printer was spilled on our light carpet and in an attempt by my husband to clean it, he spread it. What is the best way to get ink out of the carpet?

Answer: Unfortunately your carpet may be permanently damaged, but there are a few options you can try. For computer ink, I would recommend blotting up excess liquid with a clean, absorbent cloth.

Generously and evenly spray the area with BISSELL oxygen based product such as OxyPro® Stain Remover for Carpet .  Let sit overnight.

Then, use your BISSELL upright or portable deep cleaner over the affected area again.
