Can you use the spotbot on an area rug that is over Hard Wood? Should I be concerned with the hardwood floor under the rug if I do?

Answer: If you are concerned about the hard wood below your area rug, make sure to protect the surface beneath your area rug before deep cleaning. Be especially careful to follow label instructions when treating a stain on rugs. Pre-test an inconspicuous area of the rug for color fastness, as some rugs may be sensitive to water-based cleaning. Only use BISSELL sprays or machine-cleaning formulas on fabrics rated “W” or “W/S” on the label. Never use our cleaning products on fabrics rated “Dry Clean Only.”
