What should I use to soak up water?

Answer: It sounds as if you have too much water in your carpet or rug?  If you have a large amount of water in your carpet, my best suggestion is to use an upright deep cleaner to extract the water. A portable deep cleaner will work but an upright deep cleaner would be the best option for soaking up water from a large area of carpet.
