I have a Bissell Proheat 2X and it seems that I cannot fully rinse my carpet. Soap conitunes to come up and after drying my carpet is a dirty orangeish color. Do you know what this problem is?

Answer: It sounds as though you may have over wet or applied too much formula to your carpet. My best suggestion would be to use your ProHeat 2X®Deep Cleaner with warm water only. Rinse back and forth over the affected area until no more foam appears. It’s important to not use any additional formula, just warm water. Watch out for excess foam, you may want to remove excess water as much as possible by emptying the dirty water tank often.

If this does not work, your carpet may have “carpet browning” caused by too much cleaner or carpet residing in your carpet. If you contact our Customer Care department we can send a citric acid rinse powder to help you with your browning issues.
