Answer: Your hand-woven rug is actually very similar to cotton upholstery, which is safe to use SpotBot® Pet with Oxy GEN2® cleaning formula. Although be especially careful to follow label instructions when treating a stain on furniture upholstery. Pre-test an inconspicuous area of the fabric for color fastness, as some upholstery fabrics may be sensitive to water-based cleaning. Only use BISSELL sprays or machine-cleaning formulas on fabrics rated “W” or “W/S” on the label. Never use our cleaning products on fabrics rated “Dry Clean Only.”
