I purchased a ProHeat 2X® deep cleaner, pre-treater, Oxy Gen2®, and deep cleaning formulas. I have never been deep cleaned before. In what order do I use these products?

Answer: You’ll be relieved to know that deep cleaning with the right sequence of products can make a huge difference in the way your carpet looks and feels! You’ve taken some great first steps by getting a ProHeat 2X® deep cleaner and some formula to use with it.

Getting a pre-treat cleaner was also a great idea – pre-treating before deep cleaning will help you get the best possible results. I would recommend pre-treating the soiled or stained areas with OxyPro® or Tough Stain Pre-treat for Carpet & Upholstery. If you want to cover a large area of carpet, use a self-dispensing, pressurized product like OxyPro® or OxyPro® Pet. These will spray up to 15 feet away, helping you to cover a lot of carpet quickly.

After giving the pre-treat cleaner a few minutes to work, deep clean the carpet with an upright deep cleaner and formula. Our absolute best deep cleaning formula is the 2X Professional Deep Cleaning formula.

For additional stain and odor removal, you may use Oxy Gen2® in the deep cleaner’s water tank as directed.
