Is there an enzyme cleaner that I could use in my BISSELL carpet cleaner. We just bought the house and the odor is bad. We think there are several areas where there is pet urine.

Answer: It sounds as though the past residents have really “marked their territory!” Not to worry, BISSELL has your pet stains covered. 

To answer your question, putting an enzyme cleaner in your deep cleaner would not be as effective as applying an enzyme product directly to the urine spot. In fact, if you were to use a deep cleaner with an enzyme product, the water would most likely dilute the enzymes that would “eat” away at the urine stain. 

Instead, I would recommend treating all urine stains with BISSELL Pet Stain & Odor Pre-treat for Carpet & Upholstery. Cover with a damp towel for 24 hours, per use instructions.

Then, I would recommend using Pet Stain and Odor formula in any of our portable deep cleaners or 2X Pet Stain & Odor Advanced Formula Plus with one of our upright deep cleaners.
