Can I use my BISSELL ProHeat® Turbo to clean my shag rug?

Answer: Yes, you can deep clean your shag rug. In fact, the shag rug will not wrap up or clog the nozzle of your deep cleaner. Although, while dragging the deep cleaner over the shag rug, some spots may absorb more water than others and will become more wet than even pile carpet. Use a fan across the rug after deep cleaning to help dry for a couple of hours. To release dirt from the rug, use 2X Professional Deep Cleaning formula or try any of our scented formulas.
