- Before you clean, always test a small, hidden area for colorfastness and examine when the carpet is dry.
- For upholstery, look for the manufacture's clean-ability code tag. Use on fabrics coded "WS" or "W". If coded 'X" or "S" do not use. This formula is not recommend to be used on velvet, silk, vinyl, leather or 100% cotton upholstery.
- Vacuum area thoroughly to remove loose dirt.
- For best results, pre-treat tough stains and heavy traffic areas with Bissell Tough Stain pre-cleaner.
