Employees Join Together for Annual Spring Cleaning at
Ronald McDonald House Healthy House Clean Up Day
GRAND RAPIDS, May 14, 2007 – Employees from floor care innovator BISSELL Homecare, Inc. will join together as the Healthier Clean Team on May 19th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. to spruce up the local Ronald McDonald House for the Healthy House Clean Up event.
This marks the tenth year that BISSELL will donate cleaning supplies and employees will donate their time and elbow grease to give the Grand Rapids Ronald McDonald House at 1323 Cedar St. NE a deep and healthy spring cleaning.
"Once again, we are excited to team with BISSELL on this annual project," says Norma VanderLaan, local Ronald McDonald House manager. "The generous donation of wonderful products and equipment, but more importantly of caring employees, is overwhelming. We are truly blessed!"
BISSELL is the worldwide sponsor of the Ronald McDonald House Healthy House Clean Up effort and will provide nearly $1000 worth of cleaning equipment and formulas to each of the 184 participating houses in three countries. Each of the houses will receive BISSELL’s newest vacuum innovation, the Healthy Home Vacuum™, as well as a PowerSteamer® Pro carpet deep cleaner and other BISSELL cleaning products and formulas to help keep each Ronald McDonald House clean and healthy.
"At BISSELL we are excited to continue our commitment to the Ronald McDonald House Healthy House Clean Up event," says Jim Krzeminski, BISSELL's executive vice president of product development, sales and marketing. "It is an honor to help provide a clean and healthy environment for the families who are guests at these houses each year."
