Meet Bear (and his two pals DJ and KC), a 7 year old black Labrador Retriever. Bear found his forever home at the BISSELL Blocktail party, an annual fundraiser for the Humane Society of Kent County. Cathy (Director of Corporate Affairs) was impressed by his gentle demeanor and how well he mingled with her two current labs. Bear loves his new family and serves as a great example of the beautiful pets available in shelters that need homes. He’s almost perfect but he does likes to sneak up on the couch when no one’s home!

Bear and his two pals helped inspire the ShedAway™ pet grooming vacuum attachment. Cathy was looking for a better way to groom the dogs inside without having to clean up a huge mess of hair afterwards. She worked with the BISSELL engineers to design a tool that could be used with a vacuum so the hair and dander is suctioned away as you groom.
