BISSELL To Buy Woolite® Rug and Upholstery Business from Playtex Products, Inc.
Privately-held BISSELL Homecare, Inc., the pioneer of America’s early carpet sweeper, announced today it has entered into an agreement to purchase the Woolite Rug and Upholstery business from Playtex Products, Inc. (NYSE: PYX). The transaction is conditional on satisfying regulatory conditions and is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2004.
