I love my previous vacuum and was skeptical about switching brands. It was lighter weight but was not bagless and did not have on-board attachments. After one use, I fell in love with my Bissell. I thought my previous vacuum was doing a great job until I saw how good my carpets looked after using my new Bissell. I can't thank my daughter enough for this awesome gift!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sea bass It sure does suck
Pros: does a good job on carpets.
Cons: needs a longer accessory hose with a swivel hard surface attachment. Does not work well on small area rugs without lifting it up and dragging it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by JoJoSweep Worst vacuum I've ever had
This vacuum is by far the worst vacuum I've ever owned, and it was even the most expensive. I had a Bissell Momentum previous to this one, and loved it until it wore out. I got this thinking it would be even better, but it wasn't. The dirt canister if different from the Momentum and is terrible. The dirt and hair is never forced down to the bottom and just keeps collecting on the cyclones. It is designed to open the bottom and let the debris fall out, but that doesn't work very well when the majority of stuff is stuck up around and in the cyclones. EVERY time I emptied it I had to dismantle it to remove the dirt sufficiently. Within a couple of weeks it started smelling, despite cleaning the filter and my husband even using his air compressor to clean the dirt canister parts a few times to try to get rid of everything stuck in the cyclones. (and no, I never vacuumed up anything wet that would make stuff stick). It seemed louder also, my kids complained about it when I would sweep and they never said anything before about the Momentum. Unable to take a used vacuum back, I hated this thing so much I accepted the loss and got a Bissell PurePro vacuum. It was a notch cheaper, and had many features like the Momentum, plus antimicrobial protection. I recommend it a hundred times over this vacuum! More money doesn't always mean a better product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by ChanellePA Best Vacuum To Use In A Nursing Home in 2013!
We have over 80 patient rooms here in our nursing home. This vacuum has been one of the best vacuums I have ever seen operated in my whole life! I seen the way that the house keepers use the hose to pick up everything from under the beds& down in the furniture especially dust and allergens. I can't wait for my own bissell to be shipped to me in the mail. I wish I would of paid for next day shipping! Will let you know how it works in my own home soooooon!

Rated 5 out of 5 by old timer Wonderful unit
This is the best vacuum sweeper we have owned. We used it 1 day after using our old unit and couldn't belive all that came out of our carpet. Assembly was very easy. Would probbly be a little better with a longer hose. The rottary tool worked very well on the furniture. I highly recomend this unit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by vatechhokies Powerful Cleaning/Better Air Quality
This vacuum does a great job of picking up dirt! I can also tell a difference in the AIR QUALITY in my home after using it. Some reviewers stated that it was heavy but I don't have any problems carrying it up and down the stairs. I like the fact that the cord is long and also the hose extends which helps me to do the ceiling. It has a light. It is easy to empty out the dirt when you are finished vacuuming. Comes with a 5 year warranty. Also, I used a $20 rebate for this purchase.
My negatives: the brush attachment keeps falling off while vacuuming (very annoying); since the vacuum is bagless and has a large "DIRTCUP" it is unable to fit underneath your furniture; does not come with a small floor nozzle attachment.
Overall, I have been very pleased with my purchase and I would recommend this vacuum to others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Two dog home Fabulous Suction! Great Value for Price
A friend recommended this specific vacuum..said it sucked the dirt from under the house. We both have dogs. I am more than happy after using it 3 times now...can't believe how much it does suck up even when the carpet and floors look clean.
-Exceptional value for the price.
-Easy to go from floors to carpet
-Love seeing the dust and dirt when it comes into the container.
-Easy to assemble (am am not mechanical)
-Convenient attachment to do sofa and chairs on the maching
-A little heavier than I would have liked, but because of the price and how it functions I am okay.
-All plastic. Probably why low price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by stevieb plus and minus
Only about a month into this purchase, and have to say I got what I paid for and then some. Me, I'm 69, male, not very strong, and have COPD. When I pulled the unit out of the box, the holder for the extension tube(s) was broken at the bottom, and was sitting under the vacuum. Probably a handling issue somewhere factory to store. Who cares. First 4 trips over the main carpet, had to keep stopping to empty the cannister. After the first go-over, i'm getting the whole floor in one empty. This really pulls the dirt from the carpet, pet hairs and all. During a rest period, I noticed the sunlight coming in the window. Didn't see any dust floating in it. Filters must be working great. Now for the minus: the extension hose will reach almost to 7' with the unit off, but don't try holding onto it and turn it on. In the on position, you only get about 4' of length and it's hard to negotiate around steps. Also, not many attachments and they are not universal. What you get is for their model only. Like the unit, hate the attachments.
