Rated 5 out of 5 by Crazy cat lady Another awesome performing Bissell product!
I have been a Bissell customer for about 30 years! Started with the tub style carpet cleaner, now have the latest Proheat cleaner. After spending several years going thru Hoover & Eureka vacuums I finally tried a Bissell. I had the older model clean air version of the PowerClean. It was terrific at picking up cat hair (I have 4) and other dirt. Even though it didn't breakdown, I decided to retire it when this new PowerClean came out. This one is absolutely great! It is almost self propelled so no strain pushing it. It picks up cat hair and dirt very easily-it's very powerful. Lighter weight, but not so lightweight it feels cheap. Only cons - hard to get attachments in holding slots, hand tool hose is hard to get out and put back in spot. I would definitely recommend this vacuum!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Spike Some issues should not be happening
This is a non biased review that you can depend on. This is my 3rd Bissell.
1st was the cheapest one I bought from Walmart in 2013 on Black Friday. Was not happy. But I said may be it's because low end
2nd is the the carpet cleaner Proheat 2X Healthy Home® Pet Carpet Cleaner | 9200Z, which is no longer available so I can't write a review, BUT the biggest issue is it produce a lot of black dirt that it can't suck, then you have to wait till the carpet is completely dry so you can vacuum with regular one, otherwise once the vacuum gets some humidity inside it's ruined as dirt will always get stuck in the hose and drying the hose is nearly impossible. By the way I bought another Bissell from Lowes and it also made the same thing
By the way if you are obsessed with cleanliness, Nothing will make your carpet clean. Actually the idea of carpet is WRONG. Get rid of it. Im stuck in a rent house where the whole house is carpet.
3rd is this one. I told myself tha this should be far much better especially with the filter thing not allowing dust smell get out. 2 big problems:
1-Is that HEPA filter is useless. Imagine this time it isn't the smell anymore, ITS THE DUST ITSELF. The front of the vacuum after 1 minute use looks like one that is used for 2 years because of all the dust that it throws out, even on the carpet you have to suction several times because of it. i will be contacting the company and see what the problem is. I checked if the HIPA filter is in place and it is. Again its a new machine. Does that mean that when another company say that it's not only the HIPA filter is important but that it should be sealed, does that mean that they are right? I never imagined that others didn't reach the same conclusion!!!
2-It can't suction whats in front of it. So if you have stuff next to the wall, have fun.
3-Hard floor? Not sure that it does a good job. You have to go several times for it to really suction without pushing them away.
So why did I keep buying Bissell? It seemed that it was balanced options with price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ed from Mo. The best vacuum ever
Wished they were around 40 years ago. It picks up cat hair, dirt, etc. Being a amputee, I can vacuum effortless and one of the most maintenance free. No belt eating, pushes with ease and easy clean out dirt cup. Most of all the most longest vacuum I have ever owned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Blondie FABULOUS! If I could give it 10 stars I would.
Great machine! Easy empty dirt cup!!! (Can’t say enough about that easy empty dirt cup) Long cord, headlight, edge cleaners, 7 height adjustments, Lifetime belt, 9 cyclonic power suction, finger tip controls, on/off brush control, HEPA and pre-motor filters, full set of on-board tools, easy to see clogs - clear long extension hose, large easy rolling wheels - Bissell you read my mind, what a dream. LOVE it!!!
I hated, let me repeat HATED, my Hoover WindTunnel MAX used that thing 5 times and took it back. I should have taken it back after the first use.
This vacuum deserves some kind of design award. Seems like maybe the people who design Bissell vacuums actually have to use them, and clean them out too, because whoever designed this model, hit it out of the park!
I only used it once on my low pile, Italian wool carpet, and kitchen floor, so far I love it. I hope it stands up to the test of time. I am sick of having to buy a new vacuum every few years.
Folks, I read reviews and watched videos on all the different vacuum manufacturers’ websites and Amazon too. I read those reviews until I made myself crazy, and I am here to tell you buy this model. You will love it too.

I love my previous vacuum and was skeptical about switching brands. It was lighter weight but was not bagless and did not have on-board attachments. After one use, I fell in love with my Bissell. I thought my previous vacuum was doing a great job until I saw how good my carpets looked after using my new Bissell. I can't thank my daughter enough for this awesome gift!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sea bass It sure does suck
Pros: does a good job on carpets.
Cons: needs a longer accessory hose with a swivel hard surface attachment. Does not work well on small area rugs without lifting it up and dragging it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by JoJoSweep Worst vacuum I've ever had
This vacuum is by far the worst vacuum I've ever owned, and it was even the most expensive. I had a Bissell Momentum previous to this one, and loved it until it wore out. I got this thinking it would be even better, but it wasn't. The dirt canister if different from the Momentum and is terrible. The dirt and hair is never forced down to the bottom and just keeps collecting on the cyclones. It is designed to open the bottom and let the debris fall out, but that doesn't work very well when the majority of stuff is stuck up around and in the cyclones. EVERY time I emptied it I had to dismantle it to remove the dirt sufficiently. Within a couple of weeks it started smelling, despite cleaning the filter and my husband even using his air compressor to clean the dirt canister parts a few times to try to get rid of everything stuck in the cyclones. (and no, I never vacuumed up anything wet that would make stuff stick). It seemed louder also, my kids complained about it when I would sweep and they never said anything before about the Momentum. Unable to take a used vacuum back, I hated this thing so much I accepted the loss and got a Bissell PurePro vacuum. It was a notch cheaper, and had many features like the Momentum, plus antimicrobial protection. I recommend it a hundred times over this vacuum! More money doesn't always mean a better product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by ChanellePA Best Vacuum To Use In A Nursing Home in 2013!
We have over 80 patient rooms here in our nursing home. This vacuum has been one of the best vacuums I have ever seen operated in my whole life! I seen the way that the house keepers use the hose to pick up everything from under the beds& down in the furniture especially dust and allergens. I can't wait for my own bissell to be shipped to me in the mail. I wish I would of paid for next day shipping! Will let you know how it works in my own home soooooon!
