I have only used the Powerclean vacuum one time since I purchased it and I can tell you that I was very impressed with it's performance. The first thing I noticed was how quite it was and that it was very smooth [no vibration, quality design and construction]]. It is not bulky and is very lite. Once I adjusted the floor height, the unit was very manuverble. But where it really shined was the amount of dirt [dirt,pet hair,sand] it sucked out of the carpet. With a 5 year warranty and great price, I can't see where anyone could go wrong with this vacuum [even the belt is covered]. My old vacuum ate drive belts like HOHO's.

I really like my Powerclean, it is easy to use and has everything I need in one place. Love, love the attachments, makes cleaning a lot easier.

Even though I have had this product a few weeks, I can say I like it very much. I had read that it is hard to push. As I used it on several different surfaces, I did not find this to be true. One reason some might have found it hard to push might be their own fault; proper setting of the beater-bar aids all vacuums in handling. The flexible hose is nice when you use the hand tools. The "bag" empties with a touch of a button and the waste is dropped into the garbage without you having to touch it. This vacuum also get up the dirt, and that's what truly important when using a vacuum.

Bought a Hoover and was very disappointed. Bought the Bissell and so far works great. Love the long flexible hose in which the Hoover's was short and stiff. Works great on our freize carpet where we could not even push the Hoover. Since we liked this so much also bought a Bissell 3-in-1 vacuum and the floor steamer. All great so far. Would recommend all three.

Well allowed me to start here, by sharing my experience with the community regarding my Bissell Vac. that has now replaced my more expensive Dyson Vac-Cleaner. (R.I.P.) First of all it was a piece of cake putting it together. Secondly the day before I bought this Bissell 16N5 I had borough my neighbors Vacuum to clean up my home carpets and it did a good job, but once Bissell came home I vacuum again and what came out in the dust Container was unspeakable to describe. Please take my word for it, this Bissell sucked the living dirt from under the house or something because I could not believe the amount of dust and sand that I gather from the pits of my home carpet. That said, my Bissell is so powerful and I ain't complaining since it did such a find job, but it try to suck in an area rug that I have and I can't possibly vac this one up. So please if anybody have any suggestion help me out with a tip. Another thing I've noticed is that the underneath dirt container heats up after I'm done, hopefully this will not be a problem down the road. The small cleaning attachment brush that snaps in the back of the Vac, falls of easily and it will not stay hook on. Bissell needs to work on this one a little longer to get it right. I'm expecting to own this Bissell Vac well over 5 years since my Dyson lived 8 years until it busted. Anyways Bissell, so far I'm happy and I hope my comments here don't ever change since we have started a great relationship. Keep on making great products and if I can make a suggestion. It would be nice to take customer feed back on your products since we test them and abused the heck out of them all year long, none stop. Thank you for reading my comments.

The Bissell vacuum has very good suction and the attachments are very handy as located on the body of the machine. We do have 2 problems with this product. Dust piles up on the front of the machine when in use. We wipe it off with a damp cloth It also drops dirt often when in use. We then stop it and look for a clog or a reason for the lose of suction nothing seems obvious. When we put the dirt basket back on it usually starts to hold the dirt again.

Well, so far I have taken the vac. out of the box and looked at the quality of the parts and they seem to be of better than average quality. I will write more of a review when I have fully put the vac. together.

Picks up hair from 3 dogs & 2 teens but i also prefer my old Healthy Home which this was a warranty replacement for. Not sure why Bissell doesnt replace with exact same model under their warranty program. Bissell's customer service department has always been great to work with. Had a couple of broken parts on my previous Healthy Home model that were replaced under warranty with no questions asked. (dont run into this kind of service too much anymore!) This vacuum does have great suction on all surfaces & seems a little quieter than other model. worth buying.

Great vaccum! I had a very expensive vaccum for 6 years and it broke.This has all the same features for an amazin price. Easy to use picks up so much dirt and sand, getting one for my mom!

but I liked my Healthy Home vac better. This is a replacement for that vacuum. It still does a better job on hard surfaces better than others I have tried. I am just really happy with the customer service at Bissell!! I give them 5 stars!

Not happy at all with the vacuum I have had better out come with the old ones that take a bag i clean out mine after every use but still it so dusty just wish i would have picked a different one :(

I like the ease of emptying out the dirt, but I am a little dissapointed in the location of the mini brush. I just purchased this item and about 2 weeks later, the mini brush cracked. It keeps coming off the holder when I go to pick up the vacuum and I guess with it falling all the time and hitting the floor, it finally cracked. If only they could have put it in the back of the vacuum away from the handle where you carry, it would have been better.

Unit leaves a trail of dust on Carpets. Blows small debris around and does not pick it up unless you use the wand. So much so I have to use a small tank vacuum to pick up all the stuff the Powerclean leaves. Even after throughly cleaning the unit, no improvement. Left wheel fell of several weeks ago and the axel clip that hold the wheel on the axel disappeared( assume it went into the dirt container but never found it. I do better with the old tank unit. Wand does a better job but that is not supposed to be used to do the entire floor. I work my self to death as we say trying to make this vacuum work. It does not.
Bissell has a better reputation than this. I need a response and you owe me a axel clip as it is no fun putting the left wheel in place all the time.
There is something wrong when a vacuum blows dust and small particles around when it is supposed to pick them up.
We bought this at Ollies but it did not say it was used or re-conditioned.
A response form you all is needed.

I purchased this for my mother for Christmas. However, I have been the one using it. It has proven to be a good machine. Cleaning up the den on Monday, after a weekend of family being over proves a challenge but this machine is up to the challenge.
So far, we are thrilled with it. Only problem we have had is sometimes when wanting to use the hose to get into corners, it does not always have power when you first detach it. So far, I have been able to get it to work.
Overall, very pleased with product.

This vacuum was a great purchase. Works great. I couldn't believe what it pick up from my carpet and I have a Kirby. Wow. Great price and it also has a $20.00 rebate available.
So the powerclean multi clyclonic vacuum got my vote. I also purchased the Bissell Steam and Sweep today for my hardwood floors and tile. Can't wait to try it out.
