My ReadyClean® has a continuous spray. What should I do?

Answer: 1. First, remove the upper handle assembly, (including the upper body). To unscrew, use a Philips head screwdriver to remove the three screws on the back. One is right below where the handle joins to the body and the other two are located behind the solution tank. All three have arrows pointing to them.

2. After you remove the handle, look for a square white plastic button on one side of the lower body’s interior. Make sure this button isn’t stuck in the down position. This would cause continuous spray. Push on the button manually to get it back into place. If this solves the problem, you’ll likely need a new handle. 3. If your deep cleaner still sprays continuously, please take it to a technician. You can find your nearest BISSELL® Authorized Service Center by clicking http://www.bissell.com/service-centers/ or by calling 1-800-237-7691, available 24 hours a day.
