My Flip-!t® float is activating prematurely when using the dry side. What should I do?

Answer: First, see if there’s liquid in the collection tank. If there is, emptying it should fix the problem. It’s always best to dry vacuum with the collection tank empty.

If there’s no liquid in the tank, turn the machine off. The float should drop down. If you try again and it doesn’t work, you’ll need a new tank lid. You can order one here: http://www.bissell.com/parts/?sc=part&productid=23229&partid=23576
