My Steam Shot™ has reduced or no steam. What should I do?

Answer: Remember: do not use vinegar or any solution other than water in the water tank.

1. First, make sure there’s water in the tank. If the tank is empty, unplug the Steam Shot™ and wait for it to cool before adding more water.  Note: before opening the cap, relieve pressure inside the unit by holding the steam trigger.  Once relieved and  cooled, the cap can be removed.

2. Make sure the red indicator light is off. The indicator light will turn on as soon as the Steam Shot™ is plugged in. The light turns off when it’s hot enough to produce steam. If the light is on, it won’t steam.

3. The steam nozzle may be blocked.  Try using steam without any attachments on. If it steams without an attachment, the attachment could be clogged. Clean the spray tip on the attachment with a paper clip. If removing the attachment doesn’t work, wait for the Steam Shot™ to cool and then clean the inner spray tip (no attachment) with a paper clip.
