My Total Floors® Vacuum has no power. What should I do?

- Next, make sure the power cord is plugged into a working outlet. Try using another appliance in the outlet to double check.
*Reduced air-flow from dirty filters or clogs can put greater stress on the motor, increasing the possibility for overheating.*
- Let’s check the pre-motor filter and post-motor filter for debris. The pre-motor filter is a foam black filter located in the tray underneath the dirt bin. Slide the tray out to remove the filter. Does the filter look dirty? It can be rinsed with warm water and a mild detergent, just make sure it’s completely drive before reinstalling. The post-motor filter on the side is a white pleated filter this one is not washable but can be tapped out. - Also take a look in the upper tank by removing the dirt container there you will be able to access the inner cyclone assembly. Simply twist and pull out. For best cleaning, wipe it down with a damp cloth. Reduced air-flow from dirty filters or clogs will put greater stress on the motor, increasing the possibility for overheating. Once it’s thoroughly dried you can reinstall it!
