My Symphony™ Vac & Steam, model 1132 Series is Tripping my Circuit Breakers. What could be causing this?

Answer: 1.  Check the amp limit of the circuit breakers.

2.  If you are using a 12 am machine, and the circuit breakers are 10 amps you may find the circuit keeps "tripping" if additional appliances are plugged into the same circuit.

3.  If nothing else is plugged into the circuit, there is a good chance it will not "trip."  Using the machine does not pose a safety concern; however, it may be an annoyance.

4.  According to the BISSELL Manager of Compliance, most homes contain 15 - 20 amp circuit breakers.  If you continue to have problems with the machine and the amperage of your circuit breakers have the standard 15 - 20 am circuit breakers, please contact BISSELL Consumer Care at 1-800-237-7691 Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 10:00 pm; Sat 9:00 am - 8:00 pm; Sun 10:00 am - 7:00 pm all EST.  A Representative will be happy to assist you.
