The light on my model 16N5 PowerClean® or Healthy Home Vacuum® isn't turning on. What should I check?

Answer: 1.  Make sure the power cord is plugged into a working outlet.


2. Make sure the power button is on.  If the unit is plugged into a working outlet, the power button is on, and the bulb still does not work, you probably need a new bulb. You can order one by clicking here: http://www.bissell.com/parts/?sc=part&productid=2464&partid=4988
