I'm having some problems with the dirt container on my model 16N5 PowerClean® or Healthy Home Vacuum®. Any tips?

Answer: Here are some steps to address some potential issues with the dirt container:

Dirt container Assembly won't come out

This is most likely because the dirt container or debris door is damaged. If you’re unable to remove either of these, please take your vacuum to a technician. You can find your nearest BISSELL® Authorized Service Center by clicking http://www.bissell.com/service-centers/ or by calling 1-800-237-7691, available 24 hours a day. 

 

Dirt container or debris door is warped

If the Dirt Bit or Debris door is warped, please call us at 1-800-237-7691, Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., or Sunday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET. A representative will be ready and waiting to help you out!

 

Dirt doesn't fall from the dirt container when emptying

1. Make sure not to overfill the dirt container. 

                                                           

2. Check that the dirt accumulation is below the FULL line.

 

3. You can gently tap the dirt container against the side of the garbage to dislodge stuck debris.
