My ReadyClean deep cleaning machine brush is not rotating. What should I check?
Answer: We’re sorry you’re experiencing your brushes not turning on your ReadyClean machine. Please try these steps to assist with your machine.
Please note: the brushes will not rotate until the handle is reclined on your 47B2/20R7 series (or any ReadyClean series with a rotating floor blush- this does not apply to the cross action stationary brush).
• Check the brush ends for debris build-up or broken belt.
o Turn machine off & unplug from wall outlet.
o Remove solution & collection tanks.
o Lie machine down to access the bottom of the machine.
o With a Phillips head screwdriver, unscrew the belt cover & remove.
o Brush can now be removed.
o Belt can be removed by sliding off the motor pulley.
o Clean or replace brush or belt if necessary. Attach belt to motor pulley & brush, insert brush into right side end cap.
o Reattach the left end cap and slide brush back into place.
o Replace the belt cover & screw into place.
o Manually rotate brush to make sure it rotates freely and that the belt is aligned properly.
