My Lift-Off® Deep Cleaner has no power. What shold I check?

Answer: 1) First, unplug your cleaner and check entire length of power cord for damage. If damaged, please take your cleaner to a technician. You can find your nearest BISSELL® Authorized Service Center by clicking http://www.bissell.com/service-centers/ or by calling 1-800-237-7691, available 24 hours a day. 

 

2) Make sure the pod is seated correctly on the base of the unit with no gaps. If the pod is not seated properly, the heater light will not illuminate. You’ll need to push down firmly on both sides so each side clicks in. A good way to test if your pod is attached is by picking up the whole machine using the pod’s handle. Note that the red power button is located next to the handle of the pod.

 

3) Make sure to try plugging the unit into multiple outlets that you have tested with other electronics.

 

4) If you still have no power, at this point it might be best to take your carpet cleaner to a technician. You can find your nearest BISSELL Authorized Service Center by clicking http://www.bissell.com/service-centers/ or by calling 1-800-237-7691, available 24 hours a day.
