Is the BISSELL ProLite safe for use on hardwood floors?

Answer: Yes! The specially designed soft polypropylene wheels roll across bare floors without scratching. Also, the base of the ProLite is designed so that the rotating brush does not come into contact with bare floor surfaces. We do recommend periodically checking the wheels to ensure they remain clean and safe for your bare floors.
