Why doesn't the pet lifter pick anything up?

Answer: - Check the height adjustment to ensure it is set so the pet lifter touches the floor. - Make sure the lifter - bar is on correctly. The word "front" appears on one edge of the lifter-bar and the underside of the lifter-bar housing. - Make sure the lifter-bar freely moves forward and back ward. If the lifter-bar does not freely, float completely remove the lifter-bar and re attach. Two remove the lifter-bar remove the two screws, slowly screw the screws back in when the tool is reattached to the machine.
