My Lift-Off Bagless vacuum is loud. What is causing this?

Answer: The BISSELL Lift-Off Bagless vacuum contains three filters, which should be cleaned frequently in order to maintain good air flow for strong suction power and reduce loudness.

The three filters are the round filter, located above the dirt cup, the square filter located in the tray beneath the dirt cup and the rectangular filter located on the side or back of the machine. These filters should be cleaned or replaced often. The black filters can be washed in warm water and mild detergent and should be completely dry prior to re-installing. Additional filters can be ordered through Consumer Services.

The Lift-Off is a "clean-air" system, where all the suction occurs through the hose. Check the hose for possible clogs by removing the hose completely from the back of the machine by the two screws. Using a broom stick handle, push any dirt or debris through the hose. If these suggestions do not solve the problem for you, please take your machine to a BISSELL Authorized Service Center.
